"That's weird, this information isn't correct."

Shizukana said this with absolute confidence as he was looking down at his school identification.

After coming to the realization that he didn't know when his date of birth was thanks to a question of mine, the two of us tried thinking up ways of discovering what it is.

One obvious decision we made was to look at the information present on the school ID, but according to him that isn't correct.

"Yeah, January 20th is Bodo's birthday, back when I was enrolling into this school he assured me he'd be able to deal with all of the paperwork, since I was unsure of how to handle and submit it all."

"So you think he put his birthday as yours?"

He shrugged.

"It's possible we have the same birthday, but if he knew that I feel like he would've let me know."

"Have you celebrated your birthday with him before?"

He shook his head no.

"I haven't, the only days that were ever celebrated down there were days where there wasn't any work that needed to be done."

A small giggle echoed around the air after he said that.

"Admittedly, I found myself working harder on days before the break days usually came, to make sure that the day would actually be left as a break for us."

"Tensai focus, we're trying to discover your date of birth here."

He sighed, leaning back into the blankets.

"Well I can't remember what it is, and if I don't then who could I ask that would? I could ask Arisu but it's eleven at night."

At his words, I realized I'd gotten a bit riled up.

Whether or not I find this to be something that should be taken seriously, at the end of the day it's not my problem. If he chooses to wait a bit before trying to figure it out, I'll respect that, since it's a matter that concerns him most of all.

"I understand. Sorry."

"It's fine it's fine. So are we gonna keep watching this? I don't need to be up until seven."

I sent a kind look his way.

"Sure."

This is another thing that Shizukana has been trying to teach me.

Just smiling is not good enough to express yourself, as people commonly can tell how a person is feeling by the look in their eyes.

After holding a survey, Shizukana helped me realize that when I'm talking with others, I most often seem tired or bored based on the look in my eyes.

Though Karuizawa in particular said calm, and Horikita said collected.

When I asked Shizukana what he thought he just shrugged.

"It's kind of gotten to the point where I can just tell how you're feeling, I never look so little into your eyes that I see something that isn't true."

That was what he had said at the time, and I understand that as well.

It's the same for him.

I've found myself feeling surprised when others have commented on Shizukana and how he seems to be doing in the day, when I saw something different.

It's like that.

Others would look at him and see that he seems to be in a happy mood, whereas I could tell immediately he seemed a bit anxious about something.
