Shizukana POV:

I leaned back in the comfortable chair, taking in the room around me.

"Hm, it doesn't look that different from when it was Horikita-senpai as the head."

A hearty laugh echoed around the room following my words.

"Of course I have made some adjustments, personally I'm more a fan of the light."

I glanced back across from me, watching as Nagumo went over my conditions.

He closed up the file, and I smiled as I sat up.

"Have you finished?"

"Yes, I must say, you're making this somewhat difficult. Please understand that I won't be able to do everything here."

He tapped the file against the desk between us, letting it rest there for now.

"I'm sure you're well aware which of those conditions I wouldn't mind losing, and which I must have met."

He smirked.

"I can get it done."

Reading through the lines, he gave me a favourable response.

"Thank you."

I stood up from my seat, giving a cheery wave as I moved to exit the office.

"In that case, consider it official. Feel free to use the Disciplinary Committee how you see fit, President."

Though I say that, Nagumo is only seen as having an opinion when it comes to matters regarding the Disciplinary Committee.

I noticed him shaking his head, a little smile on his face.

"See you later Shizukana-kun."

Under my terms, the only way it could be brought down is if it's brought to the attention of the School Board. Though they already know of the formation of the Disciplinary Committee, and the motives behind it. So long as results are produced, the Board won't have a reason to take it apart. They wouldn't risk the backlash they would take from their sponsors if they take apart the Disciplinary Committee for no reason, it would make people think they don't know what they're doing.

I set my terms in a way so that I have free reign to do as I want. That being said, I'm not able to do everything.

That's why the Vice-President of the Disciplinary Committee will have some unique perks as well.

Now comes the question.

Who should I pick?

It's the VP, so someone who is not completely physical would be great.

I need someone as strong as possible, but also smart enough to make their own calls on things.

I can think of a couple off the bat, but the next problem is that the popularity and neutrality might tip. If that happens and people notice, then more people will go straight to the Student Council to resolve sketchy matters. This is one of the things we're trying to avoid by setting up this Committee.

For that reason, I can't pick someone from my class.

I also can't pick someone who feels too strongly about one thing or another, so Kito, Kanzaki and Ryuen are out too.

Dammit, Horikita would've been perfect if not for the fact she was in my class.

Well, I say perfect but...

I stopped walking, looking out of the glass outside.

That's an overstatement.

While Horikita is definitely close to the grey scale, the problem lies in the fact that she's also a leader.
