"Fuu."
Such sounds escaped my mouth as I continued to hold my position.
A sound went off next to me, and I glanced to the side to see that a small bird had flown over and landed on a rock that was next to me.
Even so, I kept my feet firmly planted against the tree as I maintained my position.
Slowly, I lowered myself back down, that agonizing burn making its way back as I painstakingly counted out how long it was taking for me to lower my chest back down to the ground, before taking that same time to push myself back up.
"Fhu."
Some sweat started dripping down my face, something I wasn't particularly used to.
I was used to having my hair stick to my forehead, and soak up the sweat there, but I had decided to tie back my hair before starting my workout this morning.
"Fhu."
I noticed my feet starting to slip, so pushed back into the tree, readjusting my hands to make sure the position wasn't awkward, before continuing for another eleven reps.
I let out an uncomfortable sigh, letting my feet touch ground before I picked myself up.
"This is... new." I mumbled.
That was surprisingly difficult to do.
As for what it was that I was doing.
I was keeping my feet flat against a tree behind me, about 25 centimetres up off the ground from the toes, while also doing push-ups at the same time.
It was difficult to do after everything else I'd done, but I had a feeling it would've been a bit troublesome even if I hadn't done all that earlier.
I picked up a small bag I had with me, and picked out some water from it as I started walking back to our quarters.
I would need to go take a quick shower first, of course.
I took in a breath of the fresh morning air, pleased that despite the fact it's about ten, maybe fifteen degrees out right now, that there wasn't any wind, so it was manageable.
Besides, I warmed up quickly.
I'd been spending the last two hours letting my mind run wild to come up with an improvised training plan, that I plan on touching up later, since many of the things that I typically use at my dorm or in the school are not available here.
Or at least not yet, if they are.
Either way, because of that I decided to head out and about to try and get some inspiration.
I was definitely inspired.
After looking around a bit, I noticed that I had no clue where I could go to take a shower.
Because of this, I went and found Koenji, who'd I'd seen come out into the wilderness maybe an hour ago.
"Oh? I must say that is a good question. I myself am unsure as to the answer to this, but I did find a spring not that far away. In fact, I was just about to go there, would you like to join me?"
I watched as he grabbed a small bag he had brought with him as well, drinking some water from his own bottle, before looking back at me.
He was also coated in sweat, and I'm surprised he managed to tolerate the cool air whilst shirtless.
"Sure, why not?"
I was keeping a mental track of the time anyways, I had planned on getting back to the quarters with enough time to get everyone up and informed on what I know so far, but by doing this...
