KENTRELL...

Kentrell woke up without Durk in his hold. He was torn and confused. He forced himself up and sat on the edge of the motel bed. He reached down and grabbed his boxers, he stood up and slide them on. He walked over to the table and saw a folded up piece of paper. He picked up the paper and unfolded it.

"Sorry, I haven't been able to eat Chinese take-out with you, but, I did heat up yo food, it's in da microwave, enjoy, I'm off running errands and I'll be back soon, Love you royalty, Golden."

Kentrell smiled and left the letter on the table. Simultaneously his phone began to ring. He rushed over to his pants and dug his phone out. He answered it.

"You ain't shit nigga." Anita said.

Kentrell's eyes dimmed of fear. "Ma'am?."

"Where yo ass at? How ya gone pay fa ma ticket and not pick ya own mothea up, ya sent ya little friend ta come get meh." She sounded disgusted.

"I didn't say you was hea', I didn't know he was comin' ta pick ya up." Kentrell mugged. He grabbed his clothes. "Where y'all headed ta?." He pulled his jeans up and zipped himself in.

"Ta get you, get dressed." Durk said as he took his phone back from Anita. He was getting irritated by how Anita was talking to Kentrell, and the strange thing about it, Kentrell could hear in his voice.

"When ya was gone tell meh ya was gone get ha'?."

"She's da reason I woke up, she was callin' yo phone." Durk said. "Thanks ta ha', I got alot of thangs done. I picked up ma moms, yo momma, Jazzy is done wit da decorations, da house looks great. Everythang is comin' togethea."

Kentrell smiled, he the pressed the speaker and tossed his phone onto the motel bed.

"Babe?."

"I'm still dere." Kentrell said as he put his shirt on.

"Oh. Well, I'm about ta pull up, hope you ready."

"Ight."

Durk hung up the phone.
Kentrell grabbed his wallet and phone and shoved it into his pockets. He slide his socks and shoes on and walked over to the microwave. He'd be damn if he left that take-out container behind.

*Honk*

*Honk*

Kentrell pushed the microwave door closed and headed toward the front door. He opened the door and stepped outside. He looked up and saw Durk's hellcat pulling up. He reached his arm up and waved.

Durk rolled the window down. He wore glasses and a new fit. His dreads, although, fuzzy were gelled and pulled into a cute ponytail. "Get in."

Kentrell walked over to the passenger's seat, opened the door, and got inside.

"Ya smell good." Kentrell complemented as he clicked his seat belt in.

Durk smirked. "We could've been both smellin' good if ya woke up when I tried ta wake you."

"Ma fault bahbeh, last ni--."

"Our moms are in da backseat." Durk whispered. He looked into his rearview as he backed out of the parking lot.

Kentrell closed his eyes and wished he went invisible. He turned around and smiled. "Hey Ms. Banks."

"Hey baby." Mable smiled.

"Hey ma--."

"Mhmm." Anita rolled her neck.

Durk gripped his leather steering wheel. Anita, since he picked her up from the airport, had been nothing but a pain in his ass. Complaining about every little thing. If Durk didn't love Kentrell, he would've dropped her ass off by the side of the road.
