Break The Silence, It's Too Loud

"Your wife will be fine", The nurse sighs, "but unfortunately, when she gives birth there will be complications."

Bill's voice breaks, "like what?"

"She'll be fine up until she has to give birth, there is a risk that both of them could possibly not make it. However, if baby comes out safely, Holly will be absolutely fine! but the baby, she might have some complications. Such as premature birth, complications with her heart or possible death."

"Wait", Tom perks up, "did you say the baby was a she?"

"uh yes, sorry did you guys not know the gender yet?" The nurse says confused.

"fuck yeah! imma have a niece!" Tom shouts but then stops, "sorry, not the time."

I feel a hand lay on top of mine, "i hope you heard that baby, we're having a girl. Just like you wanted." Bill says softly.

and he wasn't wrong, i wouldn't have minded either but i've always wanted a girl.

i wish my body could just wake up so i could jump and squeal in excitement, but i cant.

"So, when is my daughter actually going to wake up?" My dad questions.

The nurse breathes in through her teeth, "we don't have an answer for that, but by her ops and everything she should be up soon."

"how did she pass out?" Benny speaks up, "because just before she left, she was joking and was very much awake."

"My guess, the pain. She must have felt the pain of a miscarriage but VERY luckily, it wasn't.
You know, i don't see many cases that end with the baby surviving with the mother in this condition.
Holly and the baby are very lucky." The nurse says.

My body finally reacts to my panic shock as my eyes flutter open.

I still can't move my head but i can move my eyes and hands.

I look around and see everyone looking down, my eyes well up and i grip onto Bill's hand.

His head immediately shoots over in my direction and he leans down to pick up my body again.

"oh, my love!" He hugs his arms around me and cries out.

I see the nurse approaching my bed, she walks up to Bill and pat his back, "i need to update her observations, sweetheart."

"i'm not moving." Bill grits out of his teeth.
"bro, come on." Tom says as he steps forward and pulls Bill back gently.

Bill forcefully pushes Tom's arm off his back, "don't fucking TOUCH ME! GET AWAY FROM ME AND MY WIFE!" He turns around to everyone, "that goes for all of you fuckers."

"alright billy big bollocks, move out the fucking way." Benny laughs at Bill.

Bill stands up from the bed and walks up to Benny, "don't fucking talk to me like that."

"what are you going to do about it, huh?" Benny laughs.

A burst of some sort of energy runs through me, giving me some strength.

The nurse sees the fury in my eyes and immediately lifts the head of the bed up, so i was sitting up.

Tears fall out of my eyes as it pains to say, "get out."

Everyone turns to me confused.

"what, love?" Bill questions.

"all of you, GET OUT!"

Bill turns to Benny and scoffs, "thanks to you, my wife has turned on me! un-fucking-believable."

He crosses his arms and walks out the room.
