𝙎𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖'𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙙𝙡𝙮 in her chest as she approached the oceanfront restaurant where she was meeting Eddie. "Hello." A girl who couldn't be older than seventeen greeted Savanna who smiled.
"Hi, I'm supposed to be meeting someone under the reservation Diaz."
The hostess scrolled through her tablet before smiling, "I see, your other person has already been seated, right this way."
Savanna slowly followed the girl through the restaurant briefly pausing when she saw Eddie, he was dressed in an all-black tux, no tie, and the top two buttons of his dress shirt were undone, "Fuck me." Savanna muttered to herself right as Eddie's eyes stopped right on her.
His eyes darkened as he took in her appearance, the little black dress that hugged every inch of her body perfectly, layered necklaces laid on her chest, and finally the big diamond he put on her finger.
Eddie smiled as he stood up, "Hello sweetheart." He kissed her cheek before pulling her into a hug.
"Hello, Edmoundo." Savanna smiled softly as he pulled her chair out for her.
"You look beautiful mi amor." Eddie smiled brightly.
"Thank you." Savanna laughed slightly. The sound of waves crashing filled the tense silence.
"I miss you." Eddie blurted out, everywhere he looked she was there her smell lingering on the pillows, the unfished blanket she was crocheting, Nova, and most of all their kids every time Eddie looked at them all her could see was Savanna, she may not have birthed them but they acted just like her, all three of them threw their head back when they where laughing, her and Sabrina both did a little dance when they ate something they liked, and Chris had the same obsession as her with the show Family Feud.
