𝙎𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖 ghost of a person for the days following the incident, even though her kids hadn't noticed it the other people around her did. Eddie and the others had agreed with Savanna that it was best the kids didn't know what happened that night, and Samuel Wayland had been transferred to a high-security prison on the other cost.

It was A shift turn to take the night shift Halloween was also nearing which means they were getting more and more spine-chilling calls. "118, this is Fire 1. We're looking for a needle in a haystack out here." A voice came through their walkies as they pulled up to the site of the emergency.

"All right, the victim's name is Edgar Hill. He told dispatch that he was carjacked, got shot, and buried in some sort of coffin out here." Bobby began to debrief them as they climbed out of the truck and grabbed their go bags.

"Based on the size of an average male, that box is probably 86 by 30 inches. That's 45 feet of cubic space, most of which is taken up by Edgar. So he's got ten minutes to an hour's worth of air left." Bobby spoke as they began the search for the man who was buried alive.

"We don't know how long he's been underground, right?" Buck asked.

"Or which piece of ground he's under. Cell towers can only limit the search by so much. Let's fan out." Bobby informed them.

"Hey, Cap, do we know how serious that gunshot wound is?" Hen asked as she and Savanna walked behind their captain still pulling on gloves.

"Blood loss may have gotten him already," Savanna spoke bluntly as she pulled on her gloves.

" Dispatch still has him on the line. Hopefully, they can keep him talking." Bobby spoke slightly side-eyeing the blonde next to him.

"And not hyperventilating." Hen added watching as Savanna began to walk ahead of them.

"118, be advised. Infrared penetration is not optimal at this time." Fire 1 came over their walkies.

"Copy that, Fire 1. Keep doing what you can." Bobby radioed before looking at Buck, "Buck, you get anything on sound detection?"

"Nothing, Cap." Buck shook his head as he continued to scan the area.

"If he's really out here, shouldn't he be able to hear us?" Savanna questioned keeping her gaze on the ground.
