Years ago...

"NANNY...." I almost whispered that word. Why? Why my Nanny?

"Aurora Mizuki. Time of death, 12:00 am."

Nanny..... Why? B-bakit pati ikaw iniwan rin ako? You said to me! Sabi mo hindi mo ako iiwan. Then, why?

"I'm really sorry, Ms. Mizuki. Here, your Lola wants you to read this. Condolence." Doc said and gave me a piece of paper before she left.

I immediately opened the letter and read it.

"Kode, This is my last will. Don't cry, you have enough. I'm happy because you're my granddaughter. Nanny is so proud of you. Don't lose your hope, okay? Pagpatuloy mo lang ang pangarap mo kahit wala na ako. And here's the location of my mansion in the Philippines, it's all yours now. Take care of it, okay? And Kode, I want you to start a new life, have a normal life. Nanny loves you so much, take care, always my granddaughter."

"MIDNIGHT!"

I was taken aback when someone shouted my first name. Geez, He f*ck*n' startled me!

"Hmm? Why?" I asked my best friend.

"Sabi ko kako aalis na ako. You're spacing out. Psh!" Zeiron said.

I just smiled. "Okay, go on. Ingat. Bobo ka pa naman."

Tumango naman ito at sumakay na sa kotse niya. I waved at him bago siya umalis. Nang makaalis na siya ay nawala na ang ngiti ko at binaba ko na ang kamay ko. I heavily sighed.

I remember my Nanny's will. And here I come.... Nasa Philippines na ako dahil sa hiling niya. Actually 1 year na ako dito. I'm living a normal life just like my Nanny wants. I study during the day while I'm working at night.

And to tell you the truth, hindi lang pala mansion ang ipinamana sa'kin ni Nanny. Gosh! sobrang laki ng mansion, para siyang palasyo eh. May company rin at restaurants siyang iniwan sa akin. D*mn, I didn't know that my Nanny is that rich.

Nagulat talaga ako pagkadating ko. My butler helps me naman sa mga 'yun. Siya rin pala ang humahawak ng mga business ni Nanny na naiwan habang wala pa ako. I'm just 17 years old right now. Okay? Grade 12 student sa Clinton High. May dalawang best friends. They are Zeiron and Haven.

Nanny...

Napahawak ako sa pisngi ko ng may maramdaman akong mainit na likidong tumulo dito. "D*mn,"

"D*MN that Zeiron!" Inis na saad ni Haven at padabog na umupo sa harapan ko.

"Oh, Bakit? What did he do to you this time?" Tanong ko habang pinipigilan ang pagtawa.

We are here at our room. Vacant namin ngayon kaya mga wala ang kaklase namin. Kukunti lang ang nandito.

"Ewan ko sa'yo. Huwag mo akong tawanan!" nakangusong saad nito. Agoy, nagtatampo ang bff ko.
