Chapter 35: Eclipse

AFTER THE CELEBRATION, we get home early. Why? Because tomorrow we'll have our final exam for this month before vacation. I actually forgot about it, buti na lang nabanggit kanina sa party ni Zhoey.

“Kode! 'Wag masyadong mabilis sa pag-drive. Take care!” He shouted and I just salutes to him and left.

At the moment, I am examining the note that Echo wrote exclusively for me. Before I went home, he gave me this note. Pinasalamatan ko siya at tinggap ko na lang kahit nagtataka ako. However, I believe that this note, which he wrote, will be very beneficial to me.  It is clearly stated and written kasi. Perks of being a genius Echo.

I looked at his handwriting and smiled to myself.  It's really comprehensible and easy to understand. He was so maganda magsulat ah. Ow, my heart's gonna melt. I'm so lucky to have him talaga.

I looked at the clock and checked the time. It's 11:06 pm already. So, I'm studying here for almost 3 hours? Wow. Bumaba ang tingin ko sa phone ko na katabi lang ng notes.

Is he still awake? Should I chat him? No, I don't want to disturb him. But.... Arghh! Nevermind. It's now or never. I took my phone and find his contact name.

Napatigil ako nang bigla akong may na-realized.

What am I going to message him?

Should I just chat 143? 

Aish! Baka, baka.

*Ting*

I smirked when a sudden idea pop in my head. So, I type it immediately and tap the send button.

Napatigil ako sa pagre-review at napalingon sa phone ko na nasa tabi ng notebook ko matapos tumunog nito at nag-pop ang messenger sa screen. Kinuha ko ito nakitang si Kode lang pala ang nag-chat. Anong oras na ah? Gising pa rin pala siya.

Agad ko naman na ni-copy paste ang chat niya at pumunta akong google app. Sinearch ko ang google translate tsaka pinaste ang word na iyon doon tapos nilagay ko ito sa Tagalog.

Umangat ang isang kilay ko nang mabasa ang meaning nun pero agad din akong umiling at bumalik sa convo namin ni Kode tsaka sinabi sa kanya ang meaning.
