Chapter 16: Letting go?

"WAIT! B*tch, do you know her?" said by Zia while looking at the lady in front of her, confusion was written in her eyes.
Kode on the other hand was looking at the lady in front of her with her cold stares, before she spoke and then she left the lady and the little boy dumbfounded. "No."
The lady was stunned because of it. Tiningnan niya ang papalayong pigura ni Kode at ang babaeng humahabol dito bago nilingon ang kanyang anak.
"Mommy?" Tawag ng anak niya sa kanya.
"Don't think too much, baby. Your Ate was just not in a good mood... I think." Sabi nito, inosenteng tumango naman ang anak nito at nilingon ang ate niya napapalayo.
"Come baby, let just go." Sabi ng nanay ng bata at hinawakan siya sa kamay tsaka sila naglakad na palabas ng mall.
Nang makarating sila sa parking lot ay nakita nila doon ang driver nila na kausap ni Twilight. Nang mapansin nila ang dalawa ay agad na lumapit si Twili sa mommy niya at sa kapatid.
"Mommy, Louen! I thought hihintayin niyo ako. But when I get back wala na kayo doon." Sabi ni Twilight. Nagtaka naman tumingin sa kanya ang dalawa.
"But ate, you just talk to us earlier. You were with a girl." inosenteng sabi ni Louen kay Twilight.
"What? What are you talking about?" takang tanong ni Twilight at tumingin sa mommy niya na naguguluhan na rin.
"You even denied that you know mommy to the girl you're with." Twilight's gasped because of it.
"Mommy? Is he telling the truth?" tanong nito sa mommy nila. Bumuntong hininga naman ito.
"Yes. Maybe, you're just tired." Sabi nito na lalong nagpagulat kay Twilight.
She wanted to speak but words couldn't espace her mouth. So she sighed heavily then nodded.
TWILIGHT
Nandito ako ngayon sa room ni Lil bro. Pinapatulog ko na kasi alam kong napagod ito sa pamamasyal. Until now, nagtataka pa rin ako. I'm pretty sure kasi na nasa restroom ako at hinahanap sina mommy sa kinainan naming restaurant pero hindi ko sila doon nakita kaya nagtungo na lang ako sa parking lot. Baka nauna na sila sakin but that was I thought.
"Ate, why did you denied mommy? Mommy said maybe you're just tired. So, I understand." ngumiti ako ng pilit kay Louen. Am I hallucinating things? Bakit hindi ko naalala na ginawa ko yun? Or...
*Gasp*
"Why, ate?" takang tanong ni Louen sa'kin.
I smiled at him tsaka umiling. I think I knew now what happened. God! I didn't expect it to happen.
"Sleep now, Louen. Good night." I said then kiss his forehead.
"Hmm. Good night too ate." Saad nito kaya ngumiti ako. Inayos ko ang kumot nito bago ako tuluyang lumabas ng kwarto niya.
As I go back to my room. I immediately took my phone and text her.

Twin?
I just want to make sure that she's feeling okay now. Dumaan ang 2 minuto ay tumunog ang phone ko kaya agad ko itong kinuha ulit.
