AN: This isn't smut based, but it does have a small scene at the end!

-----------------------------------------------------------

The bowling alley is alive with the sound of laughter and the clatter of pins as Leon and I enjoy a casual afternoon together. We'd decided to indulge in a simple game of bowling since we both had the evening free and we haven't been here since our first date a few years back. So far Leon's the one winning, his competitive side overtaking his commitment to my happiness. I don't mind though, seeing his funny dances as he scores a strike and the grins he throws me every time I manage to knock down a few pins is worth it. Once again it's Leon's turn, he bowls the heavy ball, knocking down more pins than I did last round, but instead of the machine cleaning it up there's a whirring- it's gotten stuck.

"I'll go let them know." Leon says to me, briefly kissing the top of my head as I nod and sit down to protect our station. I watch as Leon heads across the room to the small counter where the staff are seated, checking people in and out as well as dealing with incidents like this. I check my phone quickly as I wait, scrolling through social media before glancing back at Leon, but this time he's not leant against the counter alone like before, there's a pretty woman at his side, rapidly talking to him before laughing sweetly and blinking up at him with doe eyes.

I frown, waiting for Leon to brush her off or point to me- his girlfriend- but instead he smiles and replies to her. I watch their encounter as a frustration builds within me, in the end I leave the seat and storm towards them, my head high as I reach his side and wrap an arm around his waist possessively. Leon looks down at me, smiling as if not knowing how I'm feeling. I narrow my eyes, silently showing him I'm confused until the pretty woman makes a noise.

"Oh, I didn't realise he's with anyone right now. Leon, you didn't tell me!" She sweetly says, but there's a hint of jealousy underneath. The fact she knows his name must mean they know each other, then seconds later it clicks. She's his ex-girlfriend. I've heard about her, and the way she made Leon unhappy. I stand taller, tugging Leon closer to me as his smile falters, then he sees it, my equal jealousy and possessiveness.

"Yeah, this is Y/N, my girlfriend." Leon introduces me. I smile, placing a hand on Leon's chest as I stake claim. The other woman's eyes follow my every movement, her façade slipping rapidly as Leon wraps an arm around my shoulders, both of us tangled together now. My nails unintentionally dig into Leon as I clear my throat, already backing away.

"Hi, actually we're playing a game right now so we've got to go." I mumble, tugging Leon away. He follows me as I feel the woman's eyes following our every move. As soon as we reach our station again my shoulders slump and I sit back in the seats, sighing heavily as Leon perches beside me. "I hate her," I whisper, "but I can't believe you didn't tell her that you're unavailable. Did you forget about me?" I let my deepest fears come to light, it's hard not to when I now know who I've replaced.

Leon's eyes widen as he takes my hands in his, shaking his head fiercely. "Of course I didn't forget about you, I was just surprised to see her. I've loved you for so long that sometimes I forget not everyone knows it, to me it's the most natural thing in the world." His expression is soft and open, he's honest and I believe him. I blow out a breath, relaxing against him as he gently grabs my chin and kisses me.

"I love you too Leon," I smile, feeling better until his ex-girlfriend and some other people take the lane besides us. I grumble, but Leon just chuckles.

"You've got nothing to be jealous about, I'm all yours. If you want we can leave?" Leon suggests. I shake my head, seeing that our pins have now been fixed. I stand, grabbing a bowling ball and giving him my best smile.

"We're not done here, I've still got a boyfriend to beat." I tease, sticking out my tongue as Leon laughs and playfully waves a hand out as if dismissing me. I turn, heading to the lane and bowling the ball until I get a strike. I cheer, noticing his ex glaring at me. I pay her no attention as Leon claps and congratulates me. A few more rounds fly by until it's my turn once more, which happens to be the same as his ex beside me. I roll my eyes and grab the ball, getting into position at the top of the lane.

"It won't last." Her voice says, just loud enough so only we can hear. I turn to look at her as I get into position to bowl. I choose to ignore her, looking away as I figure out where to toss the ball. "You can't give him anything I did. You're doing nothing for him." She adds, desperation clawing in her voice. I snort, arching a brow as I glance back at Leon, seeing him tense and on the edge of his seat as if ready to break us up from a fight.

I give Leon a small nod, silently telling him I'm okay. "Maybe, or maybe not. At least I kiss his scars instead of constantly telling him they're unattractive and ugly." Her eyes widen at my revelation, I learnt it from Leon back when we first begun to sleep together, he was so self-conscious about his looks until I kissed every inch of him and called him 'handsome'. "And at least I let him be himself instead of forcing him to be someone he's not. You see that smile on his face," we both look to a confused but content Leon, "that's because of me." With that I bowl, earning another strike. His ex glares at me, but I pay her no mind, not when Leon's waving his hands up and meeting me halfway to hug me.

"Everything okay?" He mumbles into my hair. I nod, not looking back at the woman who's got nothing better to do than linger and lurk where she doesn't belong.

"I'm good, but honestly Leon," I laugh for effect, "I'm so glad your taste in women is much better now." I giggle as he tickles my sides, kissing my cheeks and face until our screen displays the winner (Leon). The game's over so Leon and I change our bowling shoes and head out into the car park where his bike is. Out of the silence Leon finally speaks up as his mouth curves into a playful smirk.

"Jealousy looks good on you by the way, it was sexy the way you defended me and what we have." Leon deeply says, stopping to pull me to his chest and kiss me deeply. It turns out his ex had a negative effect on him too. I wrap my arms around his neck, breath coming fast as we make out like desperate teenagers. It soon turns to something more as Leon pulls me around the back of the building, where it's dark and silent. We quickly undress as minimal as possible, then Leon lifts me up, pinning me to the wall before thrusting inside of me, groaning my name as he kisses my neck. My hands tangle in his hair as he makes love to me with a neediness only equal jealousy can provide, I try to grind on him as his pace matches my own, we're panting and moaning for only a short time before we both find release, kissing to smother those final whimpers.

Afterwards we dress once more, fix our clothes, and go home where we can express our devotion to each other without the restraints of being quiet.
