AN: A few of you asked for a second part to my original imagine, so here it is! Whilst this doesn't continue right from where the previous left off and doesn't really flow, it's based on some of my favourite parts of the RE4R: When Ashley- or in this case, Leon- flirts during the elevator ride, Saddler taking Leon once more whilst controlling him, and getting rid of the parasites.

I hope you all enjoy!

The Elevator Ride

Since finding Leon Kennedy, also famously known as the president's son, it's been a whirlwind of fighting and risking my life to protect him. To begin with we were unsure of each other, I was the stranger vowing to lay down my life in order to get him home, and he was a handsome man who's looks made up for his lack of fight. As we escaped the villagers from the church and involuntarily explored more of the village and its residents, we somehow bonded along the way, call it trauma bonding or natural chemistry, regardless Leon entrusted me with his life and in return I fought tooth and nail to keep him safe, mostly from my duty as a government agent, but partly because I was beginning to enjoy the man's company.

"Did you see that? Damn, that was awesome!" Leon calls out as he bounds towards me like an overexcited puppy. Over the last few hours I've come to enjoy his light-heartedness and wide eyed view of chaos. I nod, sheathing my gun as I wipe the sweat from my forehead. Leon watches me, his lips turned up once he reaches my side, out of nowhere he reaches up and places his hand on my arm, steadying me as I wobble. I've faced numerous missions where I've had to work hard and protect harder, but this particular one seems to be pushing me further and further as we try to escape. "Hey," Leon murmurs softly, "do you need to sit down?"

I hate being perceived as weak, and I refuse to show a crack in my façade to the one person I need to be strong for. I shake my head, standing straighter as I brush Leon's touch off and point to the new hole in the wall. "No, I'm good. Let's keep moving." I smile, already forcing my legs forwards as Leon hesitates but then follows. We reach an elevator, so I push the button for it as Leon glances nervously behind him. "They're all dead." I say, hoping to lessen his fear. He nods, turning back to me with a wobbly grin on his perfect face.

"I've got no doubt about that, you kicked ass." He too cheerfully says considering the situation we're in. Regardless, I find myself snorting as I let out a laugh. It must be a win for Leon, because he chuckles as he saunters towards me just as the elevator arrives, he holds open the gate as he bows, mumbling a "ladies first." I roll my eyes, going first as he follows behind, he leans against the railing as I work the buttons, the gate closes and the elevator begins its long ascent, hopefully we're out of the woods for now. There's a brief few seconds of silence as I close my eyes and take a few deep breaths, but it's soon broken as Leon interrupts. "I've been thinking, we work well together, don't you think?"

I open my eyes, my gaze catching on the way he tilts his head. I arch my brow, heart fluttering as his lips lift into a confident smirk. I shrug, checking to see if my knife is still where I sheathed it, but that's only an excuse to move and not reach out towards the forbidden man. "I suppose we do, you're definetly a changed man since I met you in that church." I reply, swallowing as an ounce of pride rises within me. Leon huffs a laugh, stepping closer as I stand my ground, he then leans back beside me, our shoulders almost touching as he turns his head towards me. I lick my lips, heart kicking up speed as he stares at me for a few seconds with a look I can't place. Admiration? No, maybe it's just mud on my face and he's amused.

"You think so? I've realised how weak I am, and I think when we get home-"

"You're not weak." I chime in, but he talks over me.
