AN: It's Father's Day here in the UK, so here's a cute little imagine with Leon and the Kennedy's celebrating in their own way!

I've named the kids Sherry and Alex, but obviously imagine whatever names you'd like♡

Leon's POV:

I wake up first, stretching and yawning as the golden rays of sunlight cast a warm glow through the curtains. I sit up, reaching out to grab my watch and check the time and date, as I'd guessed I slept in late and Y/N must've got up to deal with the kids. I lie back down, sighing contentedly for a few more seconds until the bedroom door bursts open, followed by the Kennedy trio. I grin lazily, opening my arms as my daughter, Sherry, and son, Alex, come bounding onto the bed, all sniffles and red noses from the colds they've caught. Sherry coughs into her hand before flopping onto my chest, Alex follows suit, landing on me as I grunt and embrace them both. Y/N, my wife, steps into the room with a sheepish smile, one I love to see.

"Good morning, and happy Father's Day." Y/N softly says. Sherry and Alex mumble the same a little nasally, both sniffling next to my ears as they battle for my attention. I sit up, holding them both close as I kiss their heads.

"Thanks guys." I reply, but when Sherry's wracked with coughs my brows knit together in worry. "Maybe we should take it easy today?" I suggest, but my kids both shake their heads in unison as Y/N bites her lip to hold back a smile. The kids leap off of the bed, noses running as they rush out of the room only to come back less than a minute later holding a tray of breakfast. It wobbles as they both manoeuvre it to my side, the smell of slightly burnt toast and overcooked eggs fills the air along with the strong scent of coffee. Y/N dives in to help, taking the mug off of the tray and setting it on the side before taking the tray out of their hands as Alex begins to sneeze. It's not quick enough though, and at least half the tray gets covered by the impact. Y/N and I wince, staring at the brown toast like a fallen soldier, I guess I'll just rip that piece off to not completely hurt their feelings.

"I made the toast!"

"And I made the eggs!" They both exclaim as Y/N grab tissues from the nightstand and kneels down to wipe their running noses. Both pull faces and try to wrestle away as I watch with amusement, even the tiniest things like this can't be taken for granted.

"It looks great, thank you my little chefs." I smile, reaching out to ruffle Alex's hair followed by Sherry's. Both beam, with Alex's front tooth missing since it fell out last week. My heart warms at the sight of my family beside me, even though they're a little battered by illness right now I love them so much, so I take a deep breath and pick up the toast, crunching on it with a poker face as the kids watch me like hawks, I make a hum of approval, then finally they're settled with their work. Sherry climbs back onto the bed with Alex, both talk amongst themselves giving me a distraction to choke down the food with the coffee whilst Y/N perches next to me and hides her laughter. I give her a pointed look, then lean over to peck her cheek. "Thank you too, for looking after them this morning."

"Of course, I'm glad you finally got to sleep in." She murmurs, eyes drifting to where our kids have now stolen her spot, both lie under the covers next to each other, shoulder to shoulder as they cough and sniffle. Once again I can't hold back the pang of worry, I've dealt with bioweapons and being infected by parasites, but a tiny cold is the thing that sets me on edge. Y/N stands, leaving for a second before coming back with two spoons and some cold medicine. The kids spot it right away and try to hide under the covers, I chuckle and set the tray on the side as I pull the covers up and raise my brows at their concerned faces.

"Come on kiddos, this stuff might taste gross but it'll make you feel better. You can't say no to your dad on Father's Day, right?" I tease, watching as they share a look then nod slowly.
