Chapter 5; the fight

I was going in the forest. I had stolen an actual sword from my dad since he had 2. The smaller one, almost dagger-like, was going to be stolen. I had a wooden one, but just in case... After training in the forest, i gained experience. I fought mainly deer and ate them. Sure, the first kill was hard. But just like many say, the first is hard but after it all goes better. On the first i trained earth. After doing it once i had learned to do it voicelessly. I thought it was going to take longer, but since i now had a feel for getting things voiceless it was going smoother. I needed earth magic for one reason, and one reason alone. To stop Noah's movement. Sure, he wasn't the fastest and just seeing him with my foresight eye would probably do enough, but u can never be cautious enough. So, i learned how to make earth puddles just like Rudeus and how to make small rocks. Basically, how to manipulate the ground and how to make earth of nothing. I slept on the ground. It was harsh, but i made a rock tent for protection and a rock bed, to make it comfier i had laid leaves and skinned 2 deer's, one to lay over the leaves and the other as a thin sheet to put over my body for warmth. As a pillow i did the same, it didn't turn out the best, but it was enough. Day two, i had a little back pain. figures, sleeping on rock isn't really comfortable. But the deer skin and leaves made it better so i didn't really wake up. Also, because i can sleep through almost everything. Either way, now that i had pretty much mastered basic water, fire and earth, u would think wind was next. But no, i needed battle aura. Sure, it was against my plan, but i needed it now. So, i obtained it! After, again, watching Paul basic sword god was pretty much memorized. I was going to practice those same swings and implement it against an assault dog. I figured it would be a suitable opponent and at this point, i could handle it. So, i trained a few sword slashes for about an hour and then i searched for them. Easy enough with my handy dandy eye. One was a few meters away. About 200. So, i ran, and then used battle aura to go faster. Sure, it sounds easy, but my battle aura was rough around the edges. Definitely needed improvement. So, i stopped and trained some more. Running around and doing slashes with it. After that i fought it and... this assault dog looked like a German shepherd! I love those! Aw, i didn't want to attack it, but if i was going to adopt one it had to be a baby or child, since then u can make them docile. I planned to have dogs anyway so i might also search for one. I also wanted to try a dragon! Yeah, sounds crazy as hell but im sure i can manage. Either way the battle was starting. I immediately, like i had seen in demon slayer, dashed at the dog trying to end it in one slash, Zenitsu style! And it worked! I had really done it in one slash... maybe i am stronger than i think. Although... i heard small barks... no it couldn't be! Small pups! I had killed their mother... this wasn't a type of pain as your first kill. This was a pain of something different. Ruining their lives... it was painful especially because i liked German shepherds. Though... they were farther. About 50 meters. So, i decided to adopt one. Sure, it is bad, but letting one life was all i could do. I was broken. But... this was what i needed to do. So, i picked the only one that didn't try to attack me. The only one that looked at me with semi hopeful eyes. It was a boy and i had now adopted him. That was all day 2. I had ended it there and killed some deer for food again. Thank God i had watched survival tutorials online. I named the dog Rex after the dog "inspector rex" (a tv show) after that night, i had come back home. My parents hugged me, but now i was a new person. Seeing blood really does change a person. Though i couldn't help but be glad and happy i was with them again. Rex the little pup was chasing after me. They had millions of questions but i simply told them that this was my partner right now. Now i was ready, i started talking to dad 

"Mom and dad... i was in the forest, i will tell you details latter but for now i want to fulfill our arrangement."

 "So, i see... Boy what have you done all this time? Why do you want to be free so much?"

 "i will explain later, let's start."

 i put aside my real sword and got a wooden one. Just like the wolf, i decided to do it in one swing. Starting with my foresight eyes to see where he goes, putting him in water after and then swinging the sword Zenitsu style. So it started. Noah started fast. Foresight was vague and i should have trained it more. But now wasn't the time. I could see him, that was enough. As such i had made the ground sinkable just like that. He wasn't hit though. I tried it 2 times, before i decided i needed to do something else. I had made a quagmire that normally wouldn't hit, however i had sent a small but fast rock where he would go, enough to land a hit, but he dodged it. That was planned though because the quagmire was there. It hit and he was stunned for atleast 3 seconds. I gathered breath and mana all to put into my legs for this single strike. I would hit it in the neck, normally this would cause permanent damage if not death but when i had used it i stopped a hair away. It sent air right to him. I said, 

"do you surrender?" "Yes boy... you have some explaining to do though!"
