Chapter 9; the Party itself!

It started all simple. I looked into Sylphiette and the boys. After asking around, since it wasn't the forest, i could go alone if i said i would. The Boys's names were (they weren't ever mentioned so here i will call them...) dumb 1, dumb 2 and dumb 3. After using my All-seeing eye i found out the following. Rudeus had just started learning magic, HAH i was earlier! I can now do advanced! Ahem... Sylph shows interest in... stories? It isn't clear but i will just tell her a story i know. Like snow-white or something. To be honest, she is very childlike, but i guess i am the odd one out on this one. Now that that was all planned, i was going to go to the party in 3 days. *Small time skip* 3 days passed and now i have made it to the party. It was more of a festival really. One that was really focused on kids. First was strike up a conversation with the boys. They didn't have any interests, so i ended up telling them the superd story. Only the green hair though, not the gem for a reason. Sorry Ruijerd! No one will ever know it was me though of course. I would simply tell them and leave. Like the kid that tells everybody a scary story to warn them. Their kid brain won't remember me anyway. Next i was pleased to see that Rudeus wasn't even close to Sylph. Mainly because she was sitting on some stone fence meant to separate two fields. Really cute. I am sorry for stoking the fire Sylph! But it is necessary to get you... wait now i just sound like an sa'er. Anyway, i started the conversation with a simple hello... wich was hard enough for lil ol' me she said hello back and remembered i should just play it cool. I would ask her her name, even though i really already knew. She said Sylph. I guess she really doesn't want to say her full name. Starting with a, "are you a boy or a girl?" right now would be weird so i just said, 

"You seem to be lonely why are you sitting here alone?"

 "Well i don't really know anyone and i am nervous around people, how about you?"

 "I just got told by my dad that i needed to talk to people and gain friends since it was important."

 "Aha... what made you choose me?"

 "To be honest, u aren't very unnoticeable with that hair."

"Oh... well you are one to speak u have weird eyes!"

 "You know... that wasn't an insult... hair is what u get... it isn't something u choose, and neither are these eyes any bad. I can see a lot with them, you know? More than you ever can!"

 i only raised my voice because i really wanted to explicit the question "like how?" but she didn't react like that and instead got scared, so like the smooth criminal i was i said 

"Wait was i too hard? I didn't mean to. I just wanted to defend myself too."

 "Ah... then sorry for the remark on your eyes... but you said you can see farther than me, how so?"

 bingo, i got her. 

"Well, you see it is a good story but one for later since i don't want to tell. My parents told me that for some it is taboo."

 It was the truth; people were scared that laplace would return after all. Even though laplace would turn way weaker than me when i was done. If Rudeus had an equal mana pool than i would surely. 

"Ah taboo, but can you still tell me how it works, oh please!"

 aw man, a man's soft spot. Cute girls asking something. Back with my own kid, who i also called Sylph, it was the same. If she would ask something i would give it. I didn't spoil though, i made sure to at least tell her the importance of "gifts". As a response i showed her my all-seeing eye. She was shook but i said 

"I have a few special eyes!"

 i proceeded to change through them. From the foresight eye to the information eye. 

"What is that that you are doing! It looks weird!"

 "I was born with different eyes and i can switch them! It is basic to me, i could always do it!"

 "But why would you change eyes?"

 "Because they have abilities! Like, one is just able to see everyone if i know their name. I can also see places if i know where they are!"

 "And the others?"

 "I haven't used them yet. Though one makes me see weird images of people and the other lets me see all information of everything. Like origin and basically their whole life story!"

 That was only partially true. I could see it but only as much as i already knew.

 "So, what is mine?" 

"Like i said i haven't used them. Mainly because they are hard. One makes me see all the info from everything. even from the grass. And seeing it in letters and words that i still don't know makes me dizzy."

 this wasn't far from the truth, i hadn't used the information eye yet. Though i OfCourse i did use my foresight eye, but i figured i wanted to find out with Sylph. This was probably never going to happen though. 

"So, u can't see my life?"

"No i can, but it is hard to focus on only your info when it also has the info of your shirt right next to it."

"I see" 

for now i had figured this was enough. I had shown her all and explained some other things too, just like Rudy i had made an arrangement to see each other each week. I reassured her that i could always find her with my eye, but i would never watch her all the time. Just every week. I thought off talking to Rudy but after much and much thought i decided not too. I wanted Eris too

*BTW this is such a major change. Originally i thought of not getting Eris since she wasn't my type but this was before reading some chapters wich i did read now. Now i actually kind of like Eris so i am going to change it. Rudeus i will never meet again in the story i think. It was my plan to still do that, but i decided not too. I will have some major changes to do now though! All for Eris i guess!*
