Velvet is in her dorm room brushing her hair when Caleb materializes.
Caleb: Velvet.
She jumps, turning around to see him standing there.
Caleb: Sorry for scaring you. But I figured I'd stop by since your teammates were out.
Velvet: Right... because of the whole...
She trails off as she looks away from him.
Caleb: Vengeful thing, yeah.
He comes walking over to the pictures of her with her team, putting them face down.
Caleb: And I figured it's about time I hang out with you. Been spending all my time with Ruby since I got back.
He turns around to face her.
Caleb: She likes me going invisible with a cookie in my hand, then pretending to use magic to pull it closer to her. It's actually pretty adorable.
Velvet: I suppose having a ghost around could add to the imagination.
He stares at her for a few seconds.
Caleb: Don't say you want me to go invisible, too.
Velvet: Oh, well... then I won't.
He lets out a sigh.
Caleb: Guess it would only be fair...
She lets out a giggle right before her scroll on the end table buzzes. He watches as she picks it up and opens a message, reading it.
Caleb: What is it?
Velvet: It's Ozpin. He wants me to come up to his office. Told me to bring you, too.
Now up in Ozpin's office. He's sitting at his desk with Glynda and Gyoe standing right beside it. Ruby is standing in front of it.
A ding comes from the elevator right before the door opens and Velvet comes walking out, coming up to stand beside Ruby. Caleb materializes next to them.
Ruby: Caleb! I was going to call for you when Ozpin messaged me. Was gonna ask if you wanted to accompany me to the bakery.
Caleb: Well... we might have time to after we're done here.
Ozpin clears his throat.
Ozpin: I'm sorry to interfere with any potential plans... but I've called you three up here for an important matter.
Caleb: What kind of important matter?
Gyoe: The kind that would bring you back to life.
Caleb: What...?
Ozpin: Now, it's not guaranteed to exist, but this item would certainly restore a physical form for Caleb if it's truly out there.
Velvet: Where is it?
Ozpin: A location only known to a once great civilization, the Cobac. The Caves of Vacuo.
Ruby: Well, I don't care how impossible it seems, we have to do this. A chance to bring Caleb back to life has to be taken!
Velvet: I agree. Even with a miniscule chance, it's the only thing we have. It's very much worth looking into.
Ozpin: Glad you both agree.
Caleb: Just one thing. How do we start looking for it?
Glynda: That's what we've been extensively looking into for the past few weeks. Didn't want to install too much false hope into you.
