Chapter 26- Pale Black Virus Pt. 2

(No One's P.O.V.)

The scene opens to team RWBY's dorm at Beacon. Sun shining through the window. Yang is already up, getting herself ready for this stressful day. Weiss is sitting on her bed still in her pajamas and Blake comes walking out of the bathroom. 

Yang: Come on! You two need to go get ready so we can go get Ruby! Hurry up! 

Weiss: Patience, Yang. We know how bad you want to get Ruby back, but we can't just rush into it. We need to be careful and cautious. Go into it with some type of plan. 

Blake: She's right, Yang. 

Yang takes a few deep breaths. 

Yang: I know. I'm just really anxious... and nervous. The only other time I felt this nervous is when this virus started spreading. 

Blake: We get it. We feel the same way. 

There's a knock at the door. Yang walks over and answers the door, revealing Qrow standing there. 

Yang: Oh. Hey, Qrow. 

Qrow: Hey, firecracker. Everything's all set up. We can leave for the city as soon as you're all ready. 

Yang: Okay. We shouldn't take too long. 

Qrow: Meet me down by the landing pads when you're all ready. 

Yang: We will. 

Qrow nods before he goes walking down the hall. 

Yang closes the door and looks back at her teammates. 

The scene then cuts Caleb and Ruby. Caleb is still sitting on the chair holding his bow and an arrow, when Ruby starts stirring, opening her eyes. 

Caleb: Morning, Ruby. 

Ruby: What happened? 

Caleb: You passed out last night. Guessing you were tired. 

Ruby: I was. That fight took a lot out of me yesterday. 

Caleb: Not just the fight. 

Caleb glances down to where her wound is before looking back up at her face. 

Ruby: Right. There's that, too. 

Ruby sits up, wincing from the pain of her wound. 

Caleb: Still hurts? 

Ruby: A little. 

Caleb: Do your bandages feel uncomfortable in any way? Bloody or otherwise? 

Ruby: No. At least not right now. 

Caleb: Well, we'll come back to it later. 

Ruby looks at Caleb, noticing he looks tired. 

Ruby: Did you get any sleep last night? You look pretty tired. 

Caleb: Somebody had to keep watch. 

Ruby: You could've woken me up. I would've taken a watch. 

Caleb: Wanted you to get your rest after what happened to you. 

Ruby: I could've handled it. 

Caleb: I don't doubt that. Just wanted you to get your rest, okay? 

Ruby nods as Caleb rubs his face. 

Caleb: I noticed you didn't have your weapon. Did you drop it? 

Ruby: Yeah. When I was running away the infected. 

Caleb stands up, walking toward the exit.

Ruby: Where are you going?
