"I was expecting you today. Why didn't you show up?"

I furrowed my brows, watching him as he spoke to the unknown dial about whoever.

"Camp is ending the day after tomorrow. We have to get this done tomorrow and...."

"Matt?" I decided to interrupt, making him jump and look at me.

"Rose, hey...hey," he stuttered, looking uneasy as he put his phone in his pocket.

"Hey, what are you doing here? Who were you talking to?" I asked, looking at his phone and then at him.

"Uh...no one. I mean uh, my brother." He said, smiling nervously.

I furrowed my brows slightly.

"Uh....how long have you been standing there?" He asked.

"Not quite long."

"Oh,"

"You want to get rid of someone?" I asked, making his face twitch.

"Oh, you heard that too. Not someone, actually. It is my dog. His name is Hugo, and he destroyed my parents' farm. I told you we had a farm, right?"

I nodded but recalled nothing. "No, you never told me that."

"Well, that's because you didn't give me the chance to tell you about myself or get to know you." He said, making my heart pick up.

"Oh. I am sorry about that," I said.

"I understand. I guess you don't like me that much."

"No, no, I do like you, Matt." I retorted, biting my lips afterward.

He smiled at me. "Really?"

I nodded, dropping my gaze. I felt my face heating up.

"That just made my night." He said, reaching for my chin. He raised my face up and he leaned in.

My heart raced as he placed a kiss on my temples.

I felt goosebumps all over body.

"I have to go now." He said, smiling at me.

I smiled at him too.

"Good night," he said, walking away.

"Good night." I muttered.

Sighing, I rested my back on the wall.

Matt is so cute.

I smiled at my thoughts.

But why did he come all the way here to take a call?

I furrowed my brows, wondering why he left his dormitory and came here.

Maybe they don't have signal over there or something.

Shrugging, I smiled as I walked back to my room.

I think I am going to sleep now.

Thanks to Matt.

I can't wait to see him tomorrow. Hopefully we can talk about ourselves and everything.

Yeah.

Gosh, he kissed my temples.

Oh Jingles!
