The ride home had been a long one.

Nari leaned her head against the cool window, watching with a longing in her heart as the countryside blurred from green trees and blue sky to skyscrapers and harsh neon lights. Seoul did not feel as welcoming, rather there was an air of doomsday circling between the alleys.

They had started going over their plan, list of names, places and priorities. At one-point Nari had dosed off, her head lifted from the window to Geon-woo's shoulder as he draped his jacket over her shivering body and went back to idle chatter with Hyeon-ju and Woo-jin.

It was only when they had reached their destination did he wake her. Groggish and sluggish, tired from the long journey, the four had struggled and then found the apartment complex Mr Oh so graciously provided for them.

"I could sleep for weeks" Nari yawned, her hand lifting to wave at her mouth as Geon-woo plucked her briefcase from her hand and slung her duffel bag over his other shoulder. Woo-jin grabbed Hyeon-ju's as she too swayed in her step in fatigue. Nari forgot how exhausting Seoul could be.

"Once this is over, I might join you on that" Woo-jin nodded as the elevator doors pinged open.

"Do you even know where it is?" Hyeon-ju asked as Nari and Geon-woo glanced down at the number flashing on her device in her hand, his hands rather occupied as he leaned over her shoulder before glancing at the corridors.

"Of course I do" Nari said, her tone distant and dismissive as her eyes continued raking the unit numbers. Hyeon-ju merely scoffed in return, her head shaking in disbelief.

"Unit 809" Nari said, her voice trailing until she barely made out the three digit number, in the far corner of a corridor. "There" she said, her finger raising and Nari was quick to shook Hyeon-ju a triumphant glance. The other merely rolled her eyes and brushed past the smirking woman.
