"Relax Omega." Valerie calmly said and placed a gentle hand on the girls bouncing knee. It was one of the many gorgeous days on Pabu, but of course The Bad Batch were in no mood to enjoy the fresh air. Crosshair walked up to the two girls.

"I can't." Omega stated as she continued to stare down her comm-link.

"You know, staring at your comm won't make Echo contact you any faster." Crosshair stated. Batcher, who had been lying next to Omega, got up and walked to Crosshair.

Omega sighed and got up, walking over to her brother. "He and Rex lost most of their squad in that attack. All because the Empire was after me. I have to do something to help them."

"Omega, that's not your fault." Valerie reassured her.

"You are." Crosshair added. "By staying away."

"Crosshair is right." Valerie agreed.

"I don't think I like you agreeing with Crosshair." Hunter said as he appeared in the door of the Marauder. "But we need to know more about why Hemlock's after you, and what his M-count experiments mean. Until then you have to lay low." Valerie turned her head away from Hunter at the word M-count.

Omega frowned at Hunter's answer. "Hey," Wrecker interrupted the group. "Incoming transmission from Phee."

Hunter nodded for the three of them to climb on board and disappeared inside.

"Who?" Crosshair asked.

"She's a liberator of ancient wonders." Omega waved her hands.

"Ugh, that nickname?" Valerie folded her arms and Crosshair scowled at Omega.

Omega rolled her eyes and sighed. "Pirate. She's a pirate."

Crosshair looked at Valerie and she shrugged as the two of them climbed on board first while Omega patted her hound.

Everyone crowded into the bridge of the Marauder and once on board. Wrecker pulled up her holo-projector.

"Hey Phee." Omega waved.

"Hey kid." Phee said.

"What do you got for us?" Hunter asked.

"I've been asking around about this M-count thing, which hasn't been easy, by the way." Phee said.

"Get on with it Phee." Valerie said.

"What, hormones got you extra cranky today?" Phee raised an eyebrow at her. "Anyways, Tech's brain was the data bank, not mine, but I came through. As always."

"What did you find out?" He questioned.

"Word is certain class one bounty hunters have been retrieving M-count targets for the Empire." Phee said. Hunter snuck a glance at Valerie, who was busying herself by staring at the floor.

"Why?" Omega asked. "What's is mean?"

"Don't know." Phee said. "You're better off asking a bounty hunter."

"We have run into a few." Hunter said.

"Who are you thinking of?" Valerie asked, looking at the sargent.

Omega turned towards Hunter. "What about Fennec?"

"Who?" Crosshair asked.

"Really? Fennec?" Valerie crossed her arms.

"Fennec Shand." Hunter said. "She was hired by the Kaminoans to abduct Omega."

"She might know something." Omega said.

"She's dangerous." Hunter stated. "But it may be our only option."

"I don't like this." Valerie said.
