A/N: May this chapter/arc prove to y'all doubting William that he is indeed worthy of becoming the "Next Wizard King".
Just like what I always say, "If Tabata doesn't give him a power-up, I WILL."
Was the last cliffhanger from CH. 25 good? Then I hit you with a flashback chapter afterwards, didn't I? Hehe. Good thing you got two chapters in one day, huh? Well then, we are now at the climax of this arc! LONG CHAPTER AHEAD!

WILLIAM couldn't feel Solene’s mana anymore.
He went back to the peak of the tower, where the once luminescent purple beam glowed, but now gone.
It was done. Solene had managed to stop the revival. But she was also gone; separated from him again, for God knows how many times it had been. William couldn't count anymore, and he couldn't bear it. Every second without Solene in his sight felt like searing pain throughout his body.
Then he realized—Morgrim’s tremendous mana also disappeared.
Morgrim must've taken her somewhere… but where? Where could they be?
William couldn't help but grit his teeth. You won't take her away from me again.
He rummaged through his memories, hoping to find some clues about their whereabouts. Where else could Morgrim take her to? Surely, there must be a place, a last resort of retreat for Morgrim when he was pushed to the edge, just like what Nicodemus did earlier in the fortress.
