The Grimstone Tower Pt. 1

I must warn you though. This chapter is really long in a way that you probably won't be in the juicy part yet, but I want it to have parts where I can finally squeeze in my favorite parts of some detailed information. AND TREES. MANY TREES.

THE BATTLE of the Forsythe Fortress was only the beginning.
Solene couldn't fathom still that what lay beyond the fortress was another enemy base, a place where pitch black darkness dwelled; darker than the hooded cloaks of the fallen Forsythes by William's world tree.
The Grimstone Tower. It was an unknown place she had never heard before, making her wonder where the mysterious tower could possibly be, in the midst of the kingdom she grew up in. It was not helping either, that after the gruesome battle with Nicodemus, he still managed to get away with the bracelet Solene had, which turned out to be an important tool they had to retrieve.
At least she managed to take Perpetua down, the nuisance, sadistic woman who lavished at the sight of making them suffer by holding the Golden Dawn hostage and inflicting an invisible pain on William by making him choose.
