“IS IT JUST ME, or do I see a goddess approaching us? She's so bright it's like I've been exposed to the sun,” Sophia muttered as she returned Solene’s enthusiastic wave at her. William and her caught up to them at the beach, panting when they stopped.
“You look so beautiful, Solene-san!” Mimosa said.
Solene blushed at her remark as the rest of her friends stopped what they were doing to stare at her. She was wearing a deep amber-red two piece swimsuit with a halter-style top, which had intricate yet subtle golden phoenix feathers embroidered along its edges; the same went for her bottom. Her lower body wore a light amber sarong tied loosely around her waist—if she desired to take it off for a swim later—as the breeze made the loose skirt flow elegantly like flames.
“Woah! You're dashing, Solene-san!” David said, astonished.
“She really is.” William slipped a praise of his own, which made her cheeks burn hotter than the sun.
“Let's go for a swim now! I'm itching to dive into the water!” Alecdora invited William as the gentlemen rushed to the cold, refreshing sea waters.
“Wow! So excited to spend quality time with your captain, Alecdora-san? I thought you didn't want to come at first?” Sophia shouted as the men plunged into the sea.
“Shut up, Sophia!”
The women gathered around Solene thereafter, with Letoile and Sophia lightly elbowing her sides and giving her a teasing look.
“So… sharing a room, huh? Is he the first one to see you in your swimsuit? Yes. I bet he lost it when he saw how sexy you are, Solene.” Sophia poked her waist, raising her brows to get an answer. “Did he watch you change too? Is that why he wants to share the room with you?”
Solene gasped, her face red. “Sophia, no! T-That’s not the case. Why are we talking about this again?”
“Because we're wondering how you suddenly got closer than ever, and the captain acquired the temerity to flirt with you in front of us.” Letoile raised an eyebrow, a smirk sliding across her lips. “You've always been quite lovey-dovey before, but to share a room? There's something you're not telling us, Solene.”
