Author's Note (Read it or you'll never see the sun again)

This book is dedicated to my fellow fans of our Golden Weird Masked Captain, those who always stare and adore whenever he comes on screen and whenever he uses his World Tree Magic. Lastly, this is dedicated to the “ultimate squad” he founded—Golden Dawn.

This is my first time writing a Black Clover fanfiction. To be honest, I didn't really expect to write this down because primarily, this was just an idea that popped into my mind. Who would've thought that Everdawn will be born just because I watched a William Vangeance AMV in Youtube? I started imagining these scenarios, combined with my rekindled love for his character. Thus, I found myself writing this story!

Additional Notes:

• The timeline is set after the Elves Incident. This is the time where Langris left the Golden Dawn and Yuno is now appointed as their new Vice Captain. However, the rest of the Spade Kingdom Arc (anything that happens afterwards) doesn't exist here. Because duh, you know what will eventually happen to the Golden Dawn and u-uhm… their captain, right? I’m looking at you, Zenon!

• The female lead is an original character. There will be lots of original characters here. And even though the female lead isn't your name, rest assured that she represents you guys! Come on, just pretend that this is just another William x reader fanfic. ;3

• I'm glad that most of you never forgets my favorite description of William: He’s the closest candidate to being the Wizard King! Though I doubt he’ll be one in the series because ehem… we know who’s gonna be the 29th Wizard King. Ehem... Asta ;)

• Expect that the story will only revolve around limited characters, meaning it only focuses especially on the Golden Dawn and other characters that are connected to William. Nothing more, nothing less. I apologize in advance if you expect our Black Bulls and Asta to appear here even though I am informing you already as you read this!

I actually have a lot of vision when writing this book. I really want to share my writing journey with you, like for instance, imagining having a comic adaptation of this book, or like fanarts of my favorite scenes, or a playlist for the characters, instead of freaking writing the story. Well, sucks to be me, I can't draw!

Anyway, I just want to say, please enjoy the rollercoaster ride of emotions here in the story! And oh, uhm... Perhaps it's much better if you re-read because... There's a lot of Easter eggs here you know what I'm saying?😜
