EVERDAWN ANNOUNCEMENT!
GUESS WHO IS BACK?
That's right, Ever-readers! Your author is back! Did you re-read the chapters like I told you to? Nah? Aww, alright, nothing important.
SURPRISE QUIZ! DON'T LOOK BACK! Just to make sure you did read!
What is the name of Solene's dad?
A. Marauder
B. Barlow
C. Bryn
D. William
Firstly, thank you very much for waiting the long (although not so long) agonizing month of July for the comeback of this book! I kept my promise of continuing this book, didn't I? So now, rejoice! For our adventure will continue from this day forward!
Mark your calendars for updates! Well, because unlike when I first publish the book I had like 18 chapters waiting for you, and now that I've published it all and I just got back, now you have to wait for—maybe once if I get too lazy or don't have the inspiration or the surge of ideas yet, or twice a week if I'm hyped to writing this book.
Now that I am back, I have only one goal: Making sure that Everdawn will be engraved in your brains forever and be invested in it so much you'll probably never forget about it in several years. Will I make another William story after this? Maybe, I have a concept in my mind but is still too vague. I wanted to do a trilogy though, of our Golden Dawn boys! (Since yours truly is a Golden Dawn fan). But I don't actually know if another will follow Everdawn because if you didn't read my first Author's Note, Everdawn is just a spurt of idea brought by a William AMV and it's like a once in a blue moon idea that I have to write it, so I don't know if I would ever have that same spurt of idea moment again with other characters or just William again so🤷🏼♀️.
This long blabbering of mine is mainly about me going back to writing but I ended up talking about my future. But oh well, might as well share my ideas with you guys! Maybe you can tell me your insights! But really, if I would write another Black Clover book I would really write/publish it when the anime comes back, because then I would have more ideas. Still! Y'all obviously know who my favorite character is, yeah. But I've been crazy with Langris lately too and he now grew to be my second favorite character, so I guess he'll have his time to be the main lead of his own story then! Maybe Yuno too? Idk, there are a lot of Yuno fanfics already, y'all just gotta read all those.
ANYWAY! I would really love to interact with you more (so I can release this machine gun mouth of mine), so I think of putting "FYI" chapters or just simply facts and information about the book and its characters like how I developed them, how the ideas came to me—heck, I even wrote an essay on how Sophia just came to me, but yeah! I also wanted to share to you the bits of dialogues/scenes that I sometimes put in my bonuses in those FYI chapters, because I believe that some aren't really necessary to be added on the main story (YEAH SOPHIA, IT'S YOU AGAIN).
OH OH! And I also want to put this FAQ in this too! Maybe I'll base my FYI on your questions! Come on, just ask me anything in this chapter and I will answer it! But don't include anything manga-related, please. I DON'T READ THE MANGA. I GET SPOILED A LOT AND IDK IF I SHOULD BE HAPPY, EXCITED, OR SAD. Mainly sad I guess, since William doesn't have any page time and bruh, did he just lose an arm? (DON'T SPOIL ME. DISREGARD THAT QUESTION) and so, to comfort myself on the recent manga chapters, writing Everdawn will be my safe haven. Yeah, William is my main character. He won't be forgotten. HE WILL BE IMPORTANT. So ask anything about the book! 😸 If you get spoiled, it's your fault!
Lastly, I'm very thankful for my readers who expressed their support!
nihel12, for being so passionate and loyal, who really ignites the fire in me to keep writing. I swear, if you hadn't commented the first time in Chapter 5, I would be so dejected to keep going. I remember I was in a volleyball tournament when you commented on that chapter, and YOU DON'T KNOW HOW I STARTED TO BAWL MY EYES OUT. Yeah at first it felt like you were the only reader I have, but I'm still overjoyed because we have the same love (OR OBSESSION) towards William. I always looked forward to your comments everyday. Tbh, you're really the reason why I couldn't resist but to publish all the chapters I had.
Nathoink, who was the first person to ever comment the day after I published this book. I swear, when I saw your comment, I knew this book is going to be different than the other ones I've written. I also honestly thought you dropped the book after that, and was surprised when you came back. You are some of my silent readers out there, so I was touched when you commented on my last Author's Note.
arlertsss, who seems to appear halfway through my chapter spree, and is always looking forward for more. You were also the first and only one to message on my board, and when I read it I could cry because of happiness.
Arrowlina, who appeared after the others but also commented on my work! Me finding your book "The Lost Sister" might be fate, I didn't know you read my book. I commend you, really, for thinking of such a unique book! Let's support each other more! I will always be there for you, so you could keep writing!
flipptri I see you bruh. Although I couldn't reply to your comments because I was busy, I've been reading them and giggling like a crazy woman. It's good to hear you'd wait for an update even after years. Makes me want to not update for a whole year! (JK) I appreciate you as well!
soobcity YOU ARE AN ICON! I will never forget that day when I was so downcast because my recent chapters weren't received well, and NIHEL WAS ABSENT (it's okay tho), and I really wished that someone would come, THEN YOU CAME WITH 95 notifications. You're the type of reader I need tbh, I laughed and smiled as I read your comments; and made me rethink REALLY RETHINK, if I should continue to write or to stop for hiatus.
dahpeter20, who I first encountered in a comment section of a William one-shot! Thank you very much for checking this book out! I love reading your comments, and the quotes you suddenly pulled in Chapter 21. I knew you'd be hooked with this book, so I look forward to more moments with us!
Lilimatradora, who came so unexpectedly in my hiatus author's note. YOU'VE NEVER COMMENTED BEFORE, so I never knew my (and the book's) impact towards you. Your words really touched me knowing that I inspired someone out there with Everdawn; and it's been my dream ever. Who knew we'd be quite similar? I don't regret checking out your first book (is it your first? BECAUSE THE WRITING IS SO GOOD). I see myself in you, how you respond to my comments in your work, and I know the feeling when you're being complimented about your craft. It inspires you to write even more, right? That's why I want to be there for y'all, because you've been there for me, so you'll also have the flame to keep going.
CHECK OUT THEIR WORKS EVERYONE, "The Lost Sister" and "The song that calls me"!
It also made me realize, everyone, that by just simply commenting your thoughts, one author could be inspired to keep going and pursue what they're writing. It makes them feel that there is "someone" who is actually reading their work, and they have a reason to keep going. I remember seeing a work that got discontinued just because he/she didn't feel like someone was reading his/her work. And it's sad. Oh how much impact one comment could bring to an author's life. It would really turn their lives around.
I will treasure this wonderful readers who will serve as my drive to keep going and finish this story. 2021 me would be so happy that I finally reached my dream that someone would recognize my work and be inspired by it! Hopefully, our squad will grow! Big hugs to everyone! Thank you!
Let's finish Everdawn now, okay?
PS: My college entrance exam is on August 11 so, wish me luck!
