SOLENE MOANED as her mouth gave way for William’s tongue to enter, battling against hers as their kiss heated up in an instant.

Hunger, anticipation, and rush were flooding their veins as their bodies collided with the door. Solene’s fingers brushed through William’s hair, his hands traveling from her cheeks down to her waist. He hoisted her slightly against the wood by her legs with one arm, thanking Sophia silently that Solene’s dresses always had a slit in which he had easy access to.

“William…” Solene’s voice was breathless as his mouth covered her neck, planting kisses almost everywhere, leaving marks on her collarbone. She couldn't help but groan in pleasure, her hands free; not knowing where to hold.

Until they found the buttons of his clothes.

William immediately knew what she wanted as she unclasped his cloak and unbuttoned his clothes in a swift motion. His hands ventured at her back, finding the lace of her corset, his lips still not breaking contact with her skin as he pulled it loose—and the gown that had been dressing her was no more.

Both of them paused to look at each other’s naked bodies, breathing in awe as if it was the first time they had seen it. William’s eyes flared, craving for more as he eyed her, eyes smiling wide.

“I have longed about this moment for four years, and the feeling is killing me slowly. Though I still have remaining restraint, one approval of yours would break it into pieces,” he said. “Our first night was gentle, Solene. I can promise that you'll feel the same love we had there, but I cannot promise you that I'll be gentle. Give me permission to show you how much I missed you all these years.”

Solene pulled him closer, pressing her lips softly on his. “I missed you too, William.”

The grin of triumph from his face was palpable as he carried her against the door, her legs locking around his waist as they kissed once again. He unclasped her bra, letting it fall as his hand drifted towards her bountiful breasts, squeezing them alternately—his fingers playing with her nipples—while his other hand supported her weight.

She arched her back as he licked the sensitive peak of each one, feeling her core heating up as she thirsted for more.

“More… ohh.”

“Being vocal this time, aren't we?” William chuckled as he looked up at her. “You're lucky the Wizard King only listens to your command.”

He had no problem carrying her towards his bed, only did Solene realize that this was William’s room. Had he been anticipating this? Had he always known that she would break?

He placed her softly into the mattress as its sheets welcomed her. William marveled at this sight: his woman on his bed in his palace. How could this be real when only weeks ago he had just been dreaming about it.

His arms caged her as his tongue licked her earlobe, his voice sending shivers down her spine.

“You are driving me crazy. Ever since you left me, those three years felt like hell. You are making me crazy, Solene, for pushing me away. But now... I'm still into you, and I promise not to let you go ever again. Starting now, you are mine.”
