I woke up in an empty bed, I heard the water going so I figured Joe was in the shower. I climbed out of bed and headed to the bathroom. I opened the shower door, "May I join." I bit my lip.

"Not today, babe..I really need to get at work early." since when did he care about work? I sighed. I was confused on what was going on. He came back from New York being a new person and I don't like this.

"Okay." I closed the shower door and went downstairs to get some breakfast. I poured me some cereal in a bowl. I poured me some milk. I sat down at the bar and started eating.

Joe came down in his suit, he poured himself some coffee. "You have your car here right?" he took a sip of his coffee. I nodded my head, "Yeah, don't worry about me. I'll see you there."

He gave me a small smile and a peck on the forehead, "Alright. See you. Tell Mars I said bye." He left just like that. I finished up my cereal.

"Hey mommy. Where's Joey?" Marley came down the steps,rubbing her eyes.

"Morning sleepy head. Joe had to get to work. Want some cereal?" I put my bowl in the sink. "We got some Lucky Charms."

"I want Lucky Charms." I giggled as I got her cereal ready. I helped her up on the stool and gave her the bowl of cereal. "Guess what,mommy."

"What?" I sat next to her to finish me coffee.

"My birthday is coming up!!" she clapped. I totally forgot. Her birthday was the day after Mikey's wedding. I wouldn't be there for my daughter's 5th birthday. "Oh yeah! My baby girl is growing up." I kissed her forehead.

"I want a party, can we have a party?"

"Of course we can, sweetie," I stroke her hair, "now I have to go get ready for work." I got up,putting my mug in the sink. I went upstairs and took a quick shower.

I dried my hair and did my makeup once I got out of the shower. I got dressed and headed downstairs. "You be good, sweetie. Learn everything." I kissed her cheek.

I opened the door to let her teacher come in. "Bye mommy." Marley waved. I shut the door and got in my car. I drove to work.

I got in my office,setting things down on my desk and turning on my computer. "Knock, knock." Kevin knocked and walked in with Nick, who I didn't need to see.

"Hey guys, how was the trip?" I sat down behind my desk.

They both sat on the couch, "It was great. Things actually went smooth since Joe was there. We're opening up more recording studios around the US." So it went well, then why is Joe acting weird?

"That's great news. I'm sorry, but do you guys need something? I just walked in.." they both chuckled slightly,shaking their heads.

"The Vamps called us yesterday and they're making Somebody To You their new single and they are wanting to shoot their music video tomorrow..they want you in it."

"Me?"

Nick nodded his head, "Yes, since you are on the single. What you say? We'll give you a raise." I looked at my knees. "Fine, I'll do it."

They stood up, "That's great, we'll pick you up here so we can carpool and it'll be easier for you. Thank you so much,Demi." they both left. The rest of the day I was working on paperwork or assisting Nick or Kevin, Joe never called me for anything. I decided to go visit him before lunch.

"Hey babe." I knocked then entered.

"Hey, I'm really busy so if you need anything, talk fast." he was looking down at his desk,writing something down. I sat on the corner of his desk. "Can you get off please? I don't have time for disruptions."
