Fun at the Park.

I woke up with the biggest hangover. I opened my eyes and rolled over, I saw Joe next to me. I wanted to scream, I got out of his bed,quietly. I got my dress and walked out. I started thinking maybe there are clues around his house that I would find that could make him a jerk.

I went to his office, I started snooping around,every now and then I would listen to see if he was up,because that would be my cue and leave. I found a box on the shelf, I pulled it out and started going through it. Nothing in particular stood out, I sighed.

I suddenly heard Joe get up, I gasped. I quickly took off his shirt and got back into my dress,I bit my lip,trying to find a way out. I opened the window quickly and climbed out. I sighed of relief and rushed home.

“Have fun with Nick last night?” Lucy smirked, I sighed, “I did something really bad.” I dropped some toast in the toast, “What did you do? Give him head?” Lucy questioned,making Selena laugh. I sighed, “No.” I rolled my eyes, “I slept with Joe…” I swallowed.

Both of their mouths dropped, “Why!?”  Selena sat on the counter and I ate some toast, “I was drunk, I didn’t know what I was doing. I’m such a whore. That’s it. No more parties for me.” I sat down with my toasts. “What did he say?”

“He didn’t find out...I kind of left before he woke up..” they both started laughing, ‘Well,I hope he used protection.” Lucy headed upstairs, I sighed.  “Don’t listen to her. I know everything will be alright.” Selena handed me some advil and water, “Thanks.” I took them from her.

“I’d really love to meet Marley. Park today at 3? Pick you up.” Nick texted me, I sighed, “Yeah,sure. Can’t wait. xx”

3 o’clock  rolled around and I got Marley dress,she was excited to go to the park. I had on blue jean shorts,a flower push up top with a blue button down over it. I slipped on my sandals and had on a fedora,we headed downstairs. “Can we meet this Nick Jonas now?”

I sighed,”Just please,don’t embarrass me.” I opened up the door, “Hey baby.” I pecked his lips, “I got these flowers for you.” he smiled, “Aww,thank you. I love them. Come in,while I get a vase.” I headed to the kitchen,pouring water in a vase. “Nick,this is my best friend, Selena and her sister Lucy.” I smiled. “Hello,it’s finally nice to meet you.” Selena shook his hand.

“And I’m Marley!” Marley walked in, I giggled, “Oh,so you’re Marley?” Nick picked her up, “Yeah!” she giggled, “Well, Hi Marley,I’m Nick. I’m dating your momma.” Nick smiled and winked at me,making me blush. “You are? Are you going to be my daddy?” she smiled big. “I don’t know,we have to see.”

“Well,we’re going to the park..See you guys.” I walked outside with Nick and Marley. “I have to get her car seat from Selena’s.” I opened the car and got the car seat. “Here,let me put it on.” Nick put down Marley and took the seat from me. “I like him already,mommy.” Marley smiled, I giggled. “Good.” I brushed through her hair. “Okay,it’s all buckled in.” Nick smiled, lifting Marley in and buckling her up as I got in the car.

We got to the park and Marley headed straight to the playground. Nick and I sat on the bench,watching. “So what happened to you at the party? I was looking for you.” Nick glanced at me, I swallowed, “I….I… didn’t feel good,so I grabbed a taxi and headed home..” I laid my head on his shoulder. “Sorry you got sick.” he kissed my forehead. “I guess parties ain’t your thing anymore.” he chuckled, I nodded, “They were never mine thing since I was 20.”

He entwined our hands, “Have you talked to the guy who raped you?...Like ask for child support?” he rubbed my knuckled, “No..I don’t know his name,I didn’t know him at all..but if I saw his face, I would recognize him..”  I snuggled up against him. “No guy should've treated you like that….You deserve to be treated like a princess...actually all girls should be treated like a princess.” he stroked my hair, I smiled, “That’s sweet..” I pecked his lips. “I will try my best to treat you like that.” he stared at him, “You’re already gaining brownie points, no need to kiss my ass.” I pecked his lips.  He chuckled, “How bout...when we finish the park...we take Marley home and I take you to my place.” he cupped my face.

“I like the offer,but I think it’s a little too soon for me to seduce my boss.” I grinned, he chuckled, “Okay,I got ya...The fair is open tomorrow….I would like to take you.” he kissed my knuckles, “Marley is welcomed to come too.”

I giggled, “Marley has a play date with some of her friends,but I’d love to go.” I grinned, he nodded, “Can’t wait.”

“Mommy,swing!!” Marley got on the swing, I got up and headed to the swing and started pushing her on the swing, “Do you like like Nick,mommy?” she asked, I giggled, “Yeah...Yeah I do. Do you like Nick?” I pushed her higher, “Yeah! He’s cute!!” she giggled.

We did the swings for a few minutes then we headed to the sandbox. Nick was making a sand castle with Marley and I was there taking pictures of them on my phone,smiling. “We did it!” Nick high fived Marley,”Yay!!”  I clapped.

“Hold on.” Nick answered his phone, “Hey Joe.” I looked at him and took a deep gulp. “Whoa, yeah. I’ll be there in a minute! Bye.” Nick hung up. He got up and dust the sand off. “I’m sorry,but I have to go...something is going on at the company. I’ll call you tonight,baby.” Nick pecked my cheek. “Do you want me to drop you guys off?”

“No,I’ll call Selena to pick us up. Bye baby.” he nodded,”I’ll go by your house and drop off the car seat. Bye Marley.” he hugged her, “No,Nick,the company needs you. I’ll get the car seat tomorrow,it’s no big deal.”

“Okay,thanks. Bye.” Nick headed off.
