The twins just turned 4 months and we had their check up today as well. Tomorrow Joe had to go to a work banquet party in  Palm Beach, Florida and he invited me. I did not want to go, but he begged and Selena volunteered to watch the kids, kudos to her.

I was fixing to step in the shower for the appointment until Joe walked in. "Can I join?" he looked up and down. I didn't feel like I was ready. I didn't like me body yet. I know he didn't care, but I did. "I think there needs to be somebody watching the babies."

He nodded, "oh...alright.." he walked out. I stripped my clothes off and walked into the shower. 

I got out of the shower and dried my hair. I put on minimum makeup, then slipped on a white shirt and ripped jeans.

I went downstairs when I was done and saw Joe playing with the twins along with Marley. "Mommy," she ran to me, "do I have to go to the doctors?" 

I giggled, "No, Selena is coming by to watch you, so is Nick!" I bent down to kiss her.  She clapped,happily.

Joe went upstairs to get ready and I got the twins ready for their appointment. They were more active now, I got the hang of breastfeeding again and they were giggling and smiling. I liked this stage.

Once Joe got ready, Selena came and we left with the twins.

We signed in at the doctor's and we just waited for like 15 minutes. Dr. McKenzie called us in. "Hello Miss Lovato and hello Mr. Jonas." she greeted. Joe and I sat down. She said hi to the twins, they just smiled.

"So I can say they do smile and cute ones too." she laughed.

"So have they rolled over one way yet?" she grabbed her clipboard. Joe and I looked at each other, then nodded our heads, "Yes."

"Awesome. Have they lifted up their head up yet?" we nodded our head again.

"Do they have good head control?" 

"Yes." Joe nodded.

"Have they cooed or babbled yet?"

"Oh yes." I laughed.

"Have they responded to loud noises and do they follow objects with their eyes?" she wrote everything down on her clipboard.

"Yes and yes." I held Joe's hand.

The doctor answered all of our questions, the she  checked our babies' weight, length, and head circumference. She did the physical exam. Then the worse part happened, the twins 2nd round of vaccines. Penelope went first and I held her while the doctor gave her shots. By the first shot, she cried. I held her tight, giving her lots of love. When she was done, Pierce was next. He did the same thing.

We got back in the car when it was over, "our babies are doing great,baby." Joe squeezed my thigh while driving.

We got home and Joe got dinner cooking, Selena helped me with packing while the twins were napping. Marley was playing in her bedroom. Life was great.
