Chapter 19

I looked down confused at him, a trail of tears still on my cheeks. He held the sleeve of my hoodie, grasping it quite tightly.

"I...I-I want to know your name..." He said, tugging at my sleeve. I frowned, turning to leave. I took a step, but I was pulled back.

Claire quickly went over, holding Bloodie. "Bloodie you shouldn't-"

"It's Kia." I stated, pulling away his arm and walking off. I continued to walk, not bothering to listen to the apologies Claire yelled.

I continued to walk, eventually breaking down in the middle of an open field. I cried for, uh, hours, I guess?

Well, years after that, I ignored that place completely. I met a few people, but my relationships with them didn't last very long. And one of them was Steve.

He was a nice guy, a normal one actually. Unlike the rest of you, he was just a normal guy who mined, built, crafted, that shit.

He was a cool guy, not a problem, he eventually turned into my best friend too.
