Jays POV
Jay put his hoodie on and walked downstairs, he walked into the kitchen and saw his step dad "it's your mums annual Oscar after party tonight. The venue cancelled last minute so your now your mum is running round like a mad woman on crack cocaine" he said taking a sip of his coffee. Jay smiled and shook his head. He missed this, he missed being home. His phone then buzzed, it was his sister.
G: you need to save me. I went home with a guy last night and he now tells me he wants to marry me. Do NOT repeat NOT tell mum and dad!!
Jay smiled, he texted her that he would be there as soon as he could. He heard his mum shout Greg's name. His step dad shook his head "help me" he said. "You made the vows" Jay said as he put some bread in the toaster "if I were you son. I would try and spend the majority of the day outside the vicinity of this house. Before she sees you" Greg laughed. Jay chuckled "plan" he said "hey if you're going out can you take the g wagon. I meant to get some gas yesterday but completely forgot" Greg asked "sure thing" he said "thanks son" he said "GREG!" Emma shouted "good luck" Jay smiled. Greg smiled and shook his head, whilst patting his back "coming dear!" he shouted.
Jay smiled and texted Gaia to say he was on his way. He grabbed his toast and snuck out before his mum saw him. He got in the g wagon and turned the engine on, he saw the gage was nearly at zero. "Geez dad" he muttered before pulling off to the nearest petrol station. He pulled in, he saw an extremely cute tanned blonde girl at the bay next to him. Wow she was beautiful, he thought as he got out. He couldn't help but look at her, she looked at him and he smiled at her whilst putting the gas in the car. He saw her bite her lip, dang she was sexy, he thought as he watched her walk to the kiosk. He smiled to himself and filled up the tank. He walked into the kiosk, grabbed some pastries and saw her fumbling in her bag for her purse. He grabbed his wallet from his pocket and tapped his card on the card reader. She looked up and smiled at him "thank you" she smiled. He winked at her and smiled. Ew why did he wink at her. Her phone then rang and she smiled and left.
His heart sank a little whilst she left, he wanted to give her his number. He smiled at the attendant let him know the pump and he paid for his "that was a nice thing to do son" the attendant smiled "yeah thanks man" he said before leaving. He got in the car, he had three missed calls from Gaia. He smiled and shook his head he then pulled away and drove off.

He pulled up to an apartment in central LA. His younger sister got in "aren't you a sight for sore eyes" he said "shut up. I feel gross" she said. He smirked "have you eaten" he asked "no not yet" she said. He handed her the pastries "oh you angel" she smiled. He smiled at her, he couldn't stop thinking about that girl, she was an angel. He smiled widely "why are you smiling so much you're freaking me out" she said "sorry, there was this girl at the store. She was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen" he smiled "what's her name?" she asked whilst eating the croissant "I don't know" he said "okayyy? Did you get her number?" she asked "no she left before i could give her my number" he said. Gaia looked at him "I know it sounds crazy but I can't stop thinking about her" he said "no not crazy a little delusional maybe" she said. He looked at her "I'm joking.. you never know dude. If it's meant to be" she said. He shrugged "maybe what if I never see her again though" he said. Gaia looked at him, her brother really liked this girl. She smiled "what if you do" she said. He looked at her "you never know" she said.
Jay pulled up to the mansion, after dropping his sister off at her apartment. He walked into the house. He saw his mum in the kitchen with her step dad, they were eating lunch "hi sweetheart" Emma smiled "hiya" he said "hey son thanks for putting gas in the wagon" Greg asked "no problem" he smiled widely, still thinking about that girl. "Jeez son if you loved putting petrol in the car that much I'd of asked before?" he laughed "no there was this girl...she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. Blonde, petite and tanned. Looking into her eyes made me feel things even in those few minutes..but I didn't manage to get her name or number" he said sadly.
Emma wrapped her arm around his shoulder "darling you never know. If she's the one she'll show up, maybe when you least expect it" she said. Jay nodded "she's right. Look at your mother and me. It's not just about the right person it's about the right timing" Greg said. Jay nodded "thanks. I can't stop thinking about her" he smiled. Emma messed with his curly hair "ma" he said and she kissed his head.

Jay looked at the night sky, he still hadn't been able to stop thinking about that girl. He took a sip of the whiskey. He felt an arm around his shoulder, it was his uncle Hugh "she must've been some girl huh...your mum told me" Hugh said "it's like I fell in love with her today. Not knowing whether I'll ever see her again" he said. "Uncle Hugh. Do you believe in fate" he asked. "Not until you went into the army...I had to believe in some power that fate would bring you back to us...and it did" he smiled putting his arm around his shoulder. Jay looked at him, "so yes I believe in fate. I believe everything happens for a reason and that you are here to meet that girl again. I don't think it was a coincidence this morning" Hugh smiled.
"Jay" a voice said. "That's her" he said. Hugh patted his shoulder "I'll leave you too it" he smiled and smiled at Raquelle as he walked in.
