Raquelle walked into the coffee shop, she had a busy day ahead but she was slightly hungover after her birthday celebrations last night and her best friend's wedding over the weekend. She ordered herself an iced coffee, paid and began to walk out until she bumped into someone. "Oh my god I'm so sorry" she gasped as her drink went all over someone. She looked up and saw a tall, muscular and handsome man. His T-shirt was soaked and its showed the outline of his muscular body. He smiled "please don't worry about it. It was an accident. I wasn't looking where i was going. Can I get you another drink?" he asked kindly. "No I'll get you another drink! Please I'm so sorry" she said "please don't worry. I was unsure about this T-shirt anyway and I think it's the universes way of saying that it's not for me. I have an over shirt in my truck which I can just put on. Please let me get you a drink, I feel terrible. You look like you need the coffee more than I need the shirt. Not in a bad way because you're one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen....sorry, that sounded incredibly direct" he said, nervously fumbling over his words.
Raquelle blushed "from what I can tell it was an iced coffee" he asked. She smiled "yeah iced latte with coconut milk please and a double shot of espresso " she said "oooh wow! Busy weekend?" he asked putting his hands in his pocket "yeah, I attended a wedding over the weekend and it was my birthday yesterday" she said "oh nice, happy birthday for yesterday" he smiled "thankyou" she said. Jay ordered the drinks and then gave it to her. Raquelle's phone rang, she answered it and then hung up. "I gotta get to a meeting thanks so much for the drink" she smiled. He smiled "no problem" he said.
She kissed his cheek and walked away, slightly kicking herself that she didn't get his name or number.
Later that day, Raquelle pulled up at Selenas after finishing some errands. She walked into the lounge and saw Nareesha showing Selena a choice of shoes. She sat on the sofa with her laptop.
After they had finished, her and the girls chatted about their plans for the following weekend. "What are your plans, Reesh?" Raquelle asked "we're having our monthly games night on Friday" Nareesha said "oh that sounds fun" Raquelle said "you should come! It's always a good night, watching the boys cause absolute chaos. I swear Seev turns into a 13 year old" she smiled "yeah that sounds really awesome" Raquelle said.
The next few days passed by, both Raquelle and Jay couldn't help but think of each other. Both kicking themselves that they missed the opportunity to get each others number.
Friday Night
Jay walked to Sivas front door, he knocked and his wife answered "hey bird come in" she smiled "thanks Reesh you alright" he said giving her a hug "yeah not bad" she said. "Hey girls" he smiled before hugging Maisie and Charlotte. They said hello to him "where are the boys" he asked "oh fuck!" Max shouted. Maisie put her head in her hand as the other two shook their heads laughing "we're having an issue with the oven so the boys are having a look at it" she said "do you want me to help them" he asked "please Jay" she smiled. Jay nodded "I'm on it" he said. "Boys don't worry the experts here!" he shouted jokingly.
Ten minutes later
Raquelle knocked on the door. Nareesha opened it "heyyy. I'm so glad you could make it.
Come in" she smiled "thank you so much for having me. I brought a bottle of wine" she said "ahh you didn't have too! Come in" she smiled. "Your house is beautiful" she smiled "what compared to yours?! Girl please" Nareesha laughed as they walked into the lounge. "Girls this is my friend Raquelle and Raq these are the girls who keep me sane around the boys" she laughed "oh god I still can't believe you dealt with them in your own for so long" Maisie laughed.yeah it was a long ten years" Nareesha said. Raquelle smiled at them "don't worry the boys are lovely. They're so sweet, slightly chaotic but they're the best bunch of guys" Nareesha said "oh yeah they are super sweet. Little crazy when they're together but their great. I'm the last one to join the group and they've all been so welcoming" Charlotte said.
