Sometimes I feel stuck here,
like I can't move away.
Thick iron bars hold me inside,
I can't escape, can't stay.
It's like I have no energy,
every time I'm here.
It's like I'm asleep in the light of day,
it's like the night is always near.
I always talk about it all,
I have so much fire inside.
But once I'm here, my dreams, they fade,
I feel like I'm stuck, and hide.
It's dark, it's cold, and I can't leave,
outside the sun is shining.
But I don't have the power to go,
I can't find silver lining.
I'm always tired, always down,
Once I touch this ground.
I don't know how to chase my dreams,
I'm stuck, is what I've found.
