ODDS OF LOVE - SEASON 14

Episode 11

   Ariel Kendall was in between client meetings and standing on the semi crowded sidewalk in the  Georgetown  neighborhood in D.C. She was sipping at a tall  white chocolate mocha and staring into the front window of a small elegant bridal shoppe where the female display model showcased the most gorgeous long cream white satin wedding gown. Her lips parted in a slight smile as she gazed at the dress. She could almost picture herself in it , gliding smoothly down the rose scattered aisle of a packed  with tearful envious onlookers. And , as her eyes drifted shut suddenly , she was moving towards her handsome dignified kind sensitive groom who was only one man....... And , she could see him so clearly in her head....... It was ...... It was ..... It was ..... Maxim Volkouv......

Her eyes flew open. No..... No ...... It was not !

Maxim was too young , in his early thirties to her early forties. He was married to that annoying little squirrel like woman. He had three young children.  He was all wrong for her. Not like his older more debonair father who did not have just one small part of the pie. Nicholas had it all. She just needed to hurry him along to proposing marriage to her. Of course it would be easier if he didn't have two  women pregnant with his babies. She sighed. If he wasn't who he was she really wouldn't be interested in a man with such a messy life but then again who exactly was she to judge him ? She had that brief dalliance with his son Max. He had Margaret who wasn't really a threat because she wasn't angling for marriage from him and that Matilda Swan........ 

Matilda Swan , the one supposedly on bedrest in his home. She sighed once more. Yes. It was going to be a long several months unless she could move Nicholas closer to a ring on her finger and the wedding of her dreams. Her second. His third. But the final one for both of them. 

She was so involved in her thoughts that she failed to notice the tall slender White man come up behind her and wrap his arms around her until it was too late.

" Excuse me , " she began to say but the rest of her words cut off as the stranger jabbed a needle into her arm. Suddenly she felt extremely dizzy and confused. What was going on ? , she thought with much fright as she tried to get away but her legs wouldn't seem to work right. 

She opened her mouth to call out to a couple of people who were walking down the sidewalk near them but he leaned closer to press his mouth over hers in a cold kiss. 

After the couple passed by she heard him whisper , " You're coming with me , Ariel Kendall. Give me any trouble and I'll make sure your little Alan joins his father. "
