Natasha was leaning over the toilet bowl in the private bathroom in her spacious lab at Luna Goddess Cosmetics. She hated throwing up which was why she had so loathed being pregnant with those things they called children. It was so nasty and messy, she thought as she stop up and wiped off her mouth with a sliver of too coarse toilet paper. It was too rough on her mouth. For a billionaire married to  US Supreme Court Justice Trevor Talbot that little River Talbot could be very cheap.

She stepped out of the stall and moved to the sink area to wash her hands while staring at her thin face that was beginning to be too gaunt. Her eyes seemed sunken in and her hair lifelessly dry. Maxim wanted her to see their family doctor here but she didn't want to. She had always been very healthy in the past. Strong and sturdy. Never really sick outside of the pesky pregnancies. And, she did not trust American doctors or hospitals. She was tempted to fly back to London and check into a spa for a little rest but couldn't. Not with the Project Raven moving as quickly as it was. Which reminded her. She needed to email that Nigel about his taking part in human trials when it got closer to that part. She believed she could restore him to his previous good looks she detected beneath the hideous scars. Even if it was only from her blemish concealer.

She reached into her lab coat and removed the small half empty vial of medicine her governess Josephine had given her. It wasn't working at all. Not like the medicine Josephine had made up in the past. Natasha sighed. She would just get something new from the American pharmacy counters , she decided as she made the decision to pour the remaining liquid from the bottle into the sink down the drain. She should know better taking medicine made by amateurs anyway.
