This is Lynda Lopez with a  developing news story out of Hyattsville. There has been reports of a shooting at the A & B convenience store at the West Hyattsville Shopping Plaza at 1310 East - West Highway that has left two customers  and the cashier shot. There are no word on the injuries or the identities of the people shot but they have been transported to Hyattsville General Hospital because St. Paul's Hospital Center has closed their ER doors temporarily due to overcrowding as a result of the twenty car pileup off of I -95. I -95 is still closed as a result of this accident.  Hold on , Sue , I'm getting a little more information on the identity of at least one of the shooting victims. Yes..... yes , Sue , a police source has confirmed that one victim is newly appointed Judge Richard Norland, a resident of Hyattsville. Most know Judge Norland from his straightforward by the book persona as he oversaw the highly controversial Dodie Angeletti case which ended in a mistrial. We have no word on the judge's condition still.

Witnesses have reported that the shooters appeared to be two girls in their early to late teens, African American. Both were wearing dark hoodies and blue jeans with baseball hats. The two girls are currently at large after the shootings and attempted robbery. If you see these young girls please use caution and call the Prince George's Sheriff's Department immediately.

" Hey , Nic  ! ," Nicole heard from behind her as she got off the Barrington Academy school bus near her house. She looked over at the insistent voice and saw it was one of her besties, Rona Johnson, from her old school. She ran over to her , wondering why her friend looked so worried and out of breath.

" What's up , girl ? ," she asked as she shifted her backpack. " No cap , girl, but you looking messed the hell up. "

Rona said sharply," Shut up. Listen. I need your help. Me and Tina did something and we gotta lie low. Ok ? Po Po on our ass. "

Nicole's eyes got bigger than ever. " What the hell you do? "

" Shut up bout all that. Just know it kinda bad. I'm mean biblically accurate bad. I need you to hold something for me. "

" What ? , " Nicole asked in alarm just as Rona shoved a small black gun in her hand and then took off running fast, calling over her hoodie wearing shoulder," Talk to you later, girl ! Stash that somewhere good! And, keep your mouth shut! "

Nicole stared at the running away Rona and then down at the weapon she held in her hand.

" Shit ," she mumbled as she pondered what the fuck they had done. Then she hurriedly tucked it into her backpack under her textbooks and notebook and makeup kit.
