Peter gave him a sharp disapproving look. "I ask you to watch your tongue with my wife. She has been quite stressed with all of this. She actually taught this girl. "
Cindi lifted up her serious slanted dark eyes and said softly," might be mistaken..... It was all so fast..... They fired at something and it broke. The yelling..... They shot the judge and the cashier..... Then ..... me..... I think one of the ones with the gun..... I think it was Nicole Duncan. "

Richard woke up in even more pain than before he fell asleep. As he moaned and clutched his hand to his stomach his other hand pushed the call button over and over again.
After several minutes it was answered by a fairly annoyed nurse who retorted ," What is it now, Judge Norland ? "
Richard said sharply through gritted teeth," What it is now, ma'am, is that I am in pain. Tremendous pain. This is supposed to be a hospital that aspires to remove pain from their patients. I need medicine that actually works longer than a few minutes. And I need it now ! "
