Jeff Kendall smiled at the bartender at the packed Club Zest in DC as he flashed his fake ID in front of his sexy bronzed face. " Whiskey sour. "

The young shirtless man with the slicked back black hair and seductive dark eyes smiled at him after idly examining the ID and winked. Then he handed it back. " Coming right up , cutie ," he said smoothly. " By the way, I'm Mateo , and I get off at four. If you're still around let me know because , baby , you are bueno. "

As Mateo sauntered away with an eager shake of his very nice ass in his tight black leather pants Jeff smiled. The bartender was pretty bueno too. And , Jimmy was busy at home comforting his mother after they found out his stepdad had a massive heart attack at work and died. He had a fresh pack of condoms too. Maybe he would take Mateo up on his offer. After all , he and Jimmy weren't that serious. Friends with benefits, friends, whatever but they weren't end game. He didn't know if he was even ready for end game with anyone. He was not his little brother Alan gaga over Theodore Rochester at only fifteen. He personally thought the kids were too young to be that serious but Theodore made Alan happy so why not? Someone in the family deserved happiness. It wasn't going to be himself. And , he doubted it was going to be his mother who was due out the hospital tomorrow. Nicholas was okay in a demanding rich guy way but he didn't think his mom marrying him would last.

" Here you go, cutie," Mateo purred as he placed the drink down in front of him on the bar along with a folded piece of paper that Jeff knew without looking was the man's phone number.

A tall slender White man , who looked just a few years older than him , sat next to him on an available bar stool and said softly in a oddly accented voice," Put that on my credit card. " The man handed over what looked like a platinum American Express card. The bartender took it and , after sweeping his eyes over the new arrival, licked his lips greedily. " And , I would like a rum and coke. Please. "

As the bartender went to charge the card and prepare the drink, Jeff  looked over at the stranger who seemed a little familiar. He had his long dark hair pulled back in a braid and was wearing a plain blue baseball hat and mirrored sunshades to conceal his eyes. But he could still tell this man was gorgeous. Gorgeous with the aura of having money. A lot of money. It was in his stance as he sat on the stool. How he handed over the card. This man was used to getting everything he wanted.

" Do I know you? ," Jeff asked as he leaned closer to him. This guy smelled nice. Really nice. He wore some type of musky aftershave or cologne that was turning him on fast and hard. And , his body was lean but very solid in that tight black tee shirt and black designer jeans and black leather jacket. " I'm Jeff Kendall. "

The man smiled at him. A soft smile with a hint of shyness at the edges of it. He reminded him of Jimmy. Not in looks. But there was something that recalled Jimmy in his head. A sort of.... sadness......

" Good to meet you , Jeff," the man murmured in that gentle voice with funny accent as he retrieved his credit card and drink from the bartender. " I'm Ric. Ric Ashton. "
