Hey , everyone, Tim Shaw with a breaking news story about the possibility, the strong possibility of another football team in the Washington DC  metropolitan area. Yes , Commanders , Ravens , make room for a new local sibling in the DMV. The rumors about local billionaire businessman Nicholas Volkouv buying The Jersey Warriors and transforming them into the Maryland Stallions is not a rumor but the truth almighty. Not only is it a done deal, ladies and gentlemen out there but we have some new information coming out of Volkouv Enterprises in Greenbelt about ongoing details. The team will be building a brand new deluxe state of the arts sports stadium in Largo but that's projected to take as long as three years to complete. In the duration of the building the team with some new changes on the field will be playing at the football field on the campus of Yancey Woodward Memorial College in Montgomery County , a definite boon to the private liberal arts college.

Jeff Kendall heard his phone ringing as he was slouched over in sleep between the equally naked Jimmy Klein and their new friend Ric Ashton in his double bed.  Ric's head was resting on Jeff's shoulder and Jimmy's arms were wrapped around Jeff.

Jeff's hand reached over a deeply snoring Jimmy to locate the noisy thing on his nightstand as his blue eyes blearily opened.

As he answered it and lifted it to his ear Jeff yawned and said," Yeah ? "

Nicholas Volkouv said on the other end," Good news, Jeffrey. I have gotten you special consideration for being allowed in the NFL three years early. They drove a hard bargain but I always get my way. Are you still interested in what we were discussing, son ? "

Jeff's eyes blinked away sleep as Ric slowly woke up and got up from the bed to walk away to search for a bathroom. " What? "

" Are you still interested in being the quarterback for The Maryland Stallions ? "

Jeff sat up abruptly which disturbed Jimmy who woke up grumbling. " Oh , yeah, that. Yeah. I'm still interested. Why not? "

Nicholas laughed. " Why not indeed?  Alright, son , I need you to get ready for the day because it will be a busy one for you. I have arranged morning meetings for you with the president of the Stallions , the general manager and the head coach. Also I have found you a suitable agent who will represent you in this and future contacts. Also your mother is checking out of the hospital today. Congratulations, son. Bring me home a Superbowl win. "
