Episode 162

" They made an arrest in the case ," Nigel said as he collapsed down into the chair next to Richard's bed. He toed off his shoes and flexed his feet slightly. Then yawned  before he caught himself. Between moving from the hospital to visit Richard and the Moss Center to see Lewis and back home to check on the kids he was right knackered out. He was probably most likely going to leave here shortly to head home to grab a quick nap before ordering in a pizza for dinner for himself and the kids.

Richard shook his head and replied," It's not that girl you said I identified is it ? I really don't remember the girls much at all. It happened too fast. I was more interested in obeying than anything else. I didn't want to end up like my....."

Nigel smiled lightly at him. His eye fluttered closed slightly. " No. It's someone else. A kid named Rona. They're looking for someone else....."

Then as his head fell back all his husband heard was a small snore coming from his mouth.

Richard shook his head again and a worried expression crossed his face. He reached out for his call button and pressed it.

The nurse almost growled as she answered," Judge Norland, you can not have any more medicine. Doctor's orders. "

Richard rolled his eyes in the manner of his own children. " I don't currently require any medicine, nurse. I would like a pillow and a blanket for my husband who is currently taking a nap. If that wouldn't be too much trouble. Thank you. "

The nurse sighed. " I suppose. Is that all , your highness? "

" Excuse me? "

" I meant , Judge Norland. I'll have a tech bring it right in. "

" Thank you. "

As he leaned back on his pillows he watched his husband sleep and he felt useless and old. He was supposed to take care of Nigel. Not the other way around.
