COMMENT KARO NE...
The next day at Jeon Haveli began with a calm morning atmosphere. Tae was already up and dressed, quietly moving around the room as the soft hum of the radio played in the background.
Jiminee was still fast asleep, her small form tucked under the blankets. The music was light, filling the room with a peaceful vibe, but Tae's mind was far from calm. She absentmindedly ran her hands through her long, damp hair, trying to dry it, but her thoughts drifted back to the market encounter with her father the previous day.
The memory of her father's sad, forced smile and the way Jungkook had pulled her away lingered painfully in her heart. Tae wished things could be different—that perhaps one day, Jungkook would understand her desire to meet her parents and allow her some freedom. But right now, that hope felt distant.
Just as she was lost in her thoughts, the door to the bathroom creaked open. Jungkook emerged, fresh from his bath, with only a towel wrapped around his waist.
Tae quickly lowered her gaze, feeling a wave of nervousness hit her, and turned her attention back to drying her hair, trying to focus on anything but not him.
Jungkook, meanwhile, walked casually towards the cupboard and began dressing for work. He put on his trousers and reached for his formal shirt, but as he buttoned it up, one of the buttons popped off. He sighed, clearly irritated by the little inconvenience.
He turned to look at Tae and whistled at her; catching her attention.
She looked up, her hands still tangled in her damp hair. Jungkook gestured toward his shirt, where the missing button left a gap at his chest.
Without a word, Tae fetched the needle and thread, understanding what he wanted. But instead of handing her the shirt, Jungkook kept it on, leaving the shirt unbuttoned.
Jk- Fix it. (he said, still wearing the shirt, his muscular chest exposed)
Tae hesitated for a second, but then nodded. She approached him, her heart beating faster as she stood close to him. With the needle and thread in hand, she carefully started to sew the button onto his shirt, her fingers brushing against his skin as she worked.
Jungkook stood still, his eyes fixed on her, watching her every move.
Her fingers trembled slightly from the closeness, but she focused on the task. Jungkook's shirt hung loosely on his body, and the scent of him—freshly bathed and slightly musky—filled the small space between them.
Tae focused on her task, trying to block out the sudden awareness of their closeness, while Jungkook silently observed her. His cold gaze softened as he watched Tae, his eyes tracing the lines of her face.
Her thick, damp hair clung to her shoulders, and in the soft morning light, she looked almost ethereal. A freshly bloomed flower, he thought. For a brief moment, the tension between them felt less, almost as if time slowed.
Suddenly, the song on the radio shifted to a more romantic tune, filling the room with a surprising warmth that took them both off guard. The soft melody wrapped around them, making the moment feel even more intimate.
English Translation of the lyrics:-
In my dreams; You come every day
Silently, You come and decorate my home
Beloved, your beauty is incredibly precious
With the smell of your flowers, my home is fragranced
