Everyone please comment. I see, very few of my readers comment and vote while other just leave without even writing few words. It's really very irritating for us authors. The ones who keep asking for updates; very few of them actually comment. If you simply can't show your support by atleast writing a single comment then don't even ask for updates!!! 🙏🙏

The night air carried the crispness of winter, tinged with the scent of burning wood and roasted peanuts. The vast expanse of Jeon Residence's veranda, enclosed by intricately carved pillars, had become a warm haven against the cold, thanks to the large bonfire crackling at the center.

Laughter and soft murmurs blended with the occasional crackle of burning wood, creating an atmosphere of warmth and nostalgia.

Tae sat comfortably on a cushioned mattress laid over the stone floor, her shawl wrapped snugly around her shoulders. Hyunnie, lay on the ground, his head resting on her lap, grinning ear to ear. His tiny hands fiddled with a roasted peanut as he eagerly listened to the conversation.

Sumi sat beside Tae, wrapped in a thick sweater, her two-year-old daughter Meera cuddled in her arms. Meera's tiny hands clung to a boiled corn cob, and the little girl occasionally let out small, delighted giggles as she nibbled on it.

Across from them, Mani, sat cross-legged, listening intently. Jung-guk, the ever-energetic younger brother, lounged nearby, smirking as if he already knew where the conversation was going.

The guests, Jungkook's old college friends, had gathered comfortably as well.

Namjoon, sat beside his wife Jinie, rubbing his palms together for warmth.

Yoongi, the most savage amongst the group, leaned against a pillar, his wife Amber in a stylish winter coat beside him, looking curious.

Hobi, always the loudest, had his wife Jenna beside him, both already engaged in teasing Jungkook.

And at the center of it all-Jungkook, the ever-composed Divisional Commissioner, sitting with his arms crossed, trying his best to ignore the chaos brewing around him.

Jinie, who had covered her hands with gloves, nudged Yoongi and grinned mischievously.

Jinie- Shall we? (she asked, eyes twinkling)

Yoongi smirked.

Yg- Oh, absolutely.

Jungkook narrowed his eyes.

Jk- Don't even think about it. (he warned)

But it was already too late.

Jinie- Did you all know... (she started dramatically) that our ever-so-serious Commissioner Jeon Jungkook once used to-

Hobi- Write love letters for people! (he finished, cackling loudly)

Tae's eyes widened in shock.

Tae- What?!

Namjoon and Jiminee nearly choked on their snacks, and even Jung-guk, who had been sipping tea, suddenly burst out laughing, spilling some onto his kurta.

Jungkook groaned, rubbing his forehead.

Jk- Hobi, you idiot, I swear-

Tae- You wrote love letters?! (she repeated, looking between Jungkook and his friends in utter disbelief)

Hobi wiped away a fake tear.

Hobi- Oh, but of course! Our dear Jungkook was the ultimate romantic in college! He would write the cheesiest, most poetic love letters for his friends to give to their crushes!
