The rain had stopped, leaving the Bombay skies painted in soft greys and muted sunlight. The Min household slowly settled into the rhythm of its usual calm, save for the quiet tapping of Mrs. Min's heels as she re-entered the living room with her usual poise. She had cooled down a bit after her outburst with Yoongi, though her expression still held the stubborn resolve of a woman who felt unheard in her own home.

As she walked toward the table to collect the empty teacups, something caught her eye.

A photograph-resting innocently over the edge of the newspaper.

She paused mid-step and leaned in. The girl's features stared back at her through the glossy paper: big, expressive eyes, a delicate smile, and an elegance that seemed to leap off the image. The girl was dressed modestly, yet carried a regal composure, her head slightly turned as if someone had called her name.

Mrs. Min's eyes lit up.

Mrs Min- Oh... who is this beauty?

She picked up the photograph carefully and studied it, a rare softness spreading across her stern face.

Mrs Min- So beautiful... so delicate... and look at those eyes. She has such grace. Just perfect for my Yoon.

Turning the photo over, she spotted a neat scribble on the back:

"Jeon Jiminee - Niece of Jeon Jungkook and Jeon Taehyung. 22 years old."

Her brows knit together for a moment.

Mrs Min- Jeon... Jungkook... (she mumbled) Why does that name sound so familiar?

She placed the photo down and tapped her chin, drifting back into memories from decades ago. The sound of a younger Yoongi and his college friends, laughter echoing through the old Min house, vibrant debates about future careers, late-night study sessions...

And then it hit her.

Her eyes widened.

Mrs Min- Jeon Jungkook! That tall, soft-spoken boy who visited once with Yoongi! What was he studying back then... UPSC or something. Yes, yes! That's the one.

She laughed lightly in surprise, placing her hand over her chest.

Mrs Min- I remember thinking he had good manners. Polished and decent. And now he's this girl's uncle?

She picked the photograph up again, holding it a little closer now, admiration evident on her face.

Mrs Min- What a lovely girl they've raised. So dignified. There's charm in her face, but not the loud kind. She looks like someone who knows how to handle a household... someone who'll know how to respect traditions and elders.

She glanced toward the hallway leading to Yoon's room.

Mrs Min- This is it. This girl is it. I've had enough heartbreak from Yoongi and Amber's childless marriage. Now I'll put all my hopes in Yoon's bride. And this girl... this Jeon Jiminee... is exactly what I was looking for.

She chuckled softly to herself, practically glowing with excitement as she sat down again on the sofa, the photo still clutched in her hand.

Mrs Min- Jiminee... you don't know it yet, dear, but your fate is about to take a turn. Because this mother has decided - you're going to be the Bahu of the Min house.

Her fingers traced the edges of the photograph with affection.

Mrs Min- I just have to find a way to reach out to the Jeons. I wonder if Jungkook still remembers me.
