The golden morning light filtered through the ornate windows of the Jeon residence, casting a warm glow upon the room. The faint sounds of birds chirping outside blended with the occasional murmurs of women bustling in the corridors, carrying news of the newborn heir.

Tae lay on the soft mattress, exhaustion still evident in her body, but her heart felt nothing but joy as her gaze settled on the tiny bundle sleeping beside her. Wrapped snugly in a soft cotton cloth, her son’s small frame barely took up space on the bed.

She studied him with awe, every delicate feature of his face making her heart swell.

His skin was soft and fair, with a rosy tint on his cheeks. His nose was small, slightly upturned, resembling his father’s.

His lips were tiny and pink, shaped just like Jungkook’s, and every now and then, they would purse as if he were about to pout.

His fingers, barely the size of her own fingertip, curled into little fists near his chest, while his fine black hair peeked out from beneath the folds of his cloth.

Tae reached out and gently caressed his cheek with the back of her finger. A breathless chuckle escaped her as the baby stirred slightly at her touch, making a soft mewling sound before shifting a little in his sleep. Her heart melted at the sight.

Mrs. Kim, who sat beside them, watched the mother and child with adoration. She smiled and reached out to place a gentle hand on the baby’s chest.

Mrs Kim- He looks just like Jamai-sa, Lado.

Tae turned to her mother, laughing softly.

Tae- True, Maa. See na, I carried him for nine months, yet he chose to look just like his Papa. (she pouted playfully, though the love in her eyes was unmistakable)

Mrs. Kim chuckled and caressed Tae’s head.

Mrs Kim- That’s how sons are, my child. They may stay within their mother for months, but when they come into the world, they become a mirror of their father.

Just then, a soft knock echoed at the door, and the two turned their heads to see Jung-guk and Sumi stepping inside.

Tae smiled warmly at them.

Sumi approached first, her eyes filled with admiration and concern.

Sumi- How are you, didi? (she asked gently)

Tae nodded, her eyes still drowsy but filled with happiness.

Tae- I am fine, Sumi.

Jung-guk, however, walked straight toward the baby. As his eyes landed on the tiny face, he halted, blinking in disbelief. A slow chuckle rumbled in his throat as he took a closer look.

Guk- Gosh! Here comes our twin.

Tae and Mrs. Kim looked at him in amusement, while Sumi giggled from beside him.
