Five years later....

The Jeon residence had changed over the years, filling with the laughter, chaos, and mischief of a five-year-old boy who had stolen everyone's hearts-Jeon Jung-Hyun. Or as he was fondly called, Hyunnie.

He was a spitting image of his father, from the sharp yet mischievous eyes to the slightly furrowed brows that made him look serious even when he was up to no good

He was a spitting image of his father, from the sharp yet mischievous eyes to the slightly furrowed brows that made him look serious even when he was up to no good. His round, chubby cheeks made it impossible for Tae to scold him properly, even when he caused trouble.

And trouble he did cause-a lot of it. Every morning was a battle, especially when it came to getting him ready for school.

Tae- Hyunnie, stop running! Come here and wear your uniform! (she huffed, trying to catch the little whirlwind who was determined to escape her grasp)

Hyun- Naaahh! No schoo' today, Amma! (he squealed, his tiny legs sprinting across the room as he dodged her grasp)

Tae sighed, rubbing her forehead. The five-year-old had inherited not just Jungkook's face but also his stubbornness.

Tae- Hyunnie, come here right now, or I'll call Baba! (she tried to threaten, knowing well that Jungkook's name always worked)

But today, Hyunnie was in no mood to surrender. He pouted dramatically and crossed his arms.

Hyun- Baba gone to offisss! He no save you, Amma! (he stuck out his tiny tongue before breaking into another run)

Tae shook her head with an exasperated smile. Motherhood had changed her in many ways. No longer the naïve seventeen-year-old girl who had once hesitated to raise her voice, she was now a strong, confident woman.

Her figure had matured, full and graceful, her thick black hair tied in a neat braid that cascaded down her back. She no longer blushed at Jungkook's intense stares but carried herself with the quiet strength of a woman who had found her place in his life.
