The fragrance of sandalwood and ghee filled the air as the sacred fire crackled softly, its golden flames illuminating the solemn expressions of the family gathered around. The priest’s rhythmic chanting of mantras resonated through the grand hall, creating an atmosphere of deep reverence.

Jungkook and Tae sat cross-legged before the sacred fire, their postures poised yet carrying different emotions.

Tae, her face partially veiled under the soft ghunghat, adjusted the baby’s kurta pajama as he shifted slightly in discomfort.

She looked at Jungkook beside her, his back straight, arms crossed over his chest in his usual composed manner. Though his expression remained impassive, she could see the flicker of warmth in his eyes as he stole a glance at their son.

As the priest chanted mantras, Jungkook was guided to pour the offerings into the hawan kund.

Tae instinctively placed her hand on his arm, a silent act of togetherness.

Jungkook’s thoughts stirred as he watched the flames rise.

"My son... The Jeon blood runs through him, but will he be forced into the same rigid path as me? Will he ever have a choice, or will he too be bound by duty before he understands its burden? For now, all I want is for him to rest in his mother’s warmth, without the weight of the world pressing on his tiny shoulders."

Tae, feeling the warmth of the fire on her skin, lowered her gaze to the tiny life in her arms.

"This is our son’s first ritual, the first step into this world bound by tradition. I wonder what the future holds for him. Will he carry the same weight of expectations as his father? Or will he carve his own path? I hope... I pray, that he grows up to be free."

The baby squirmed slightly, his tiny fists curling. Jungkook reached out, his large hands gently patting his son’s back. The infant made a small gurgling sound, as if acknowledging his father’s presence.

The ceremony proceeded, with guests whispering among themselves, exchanging blessings, and marveling at the newborn.

Meanwhile, Jiminee, who had been sitting quietly on Mr. Kim’s lap, suddenly grew restless. Unable to resist any longer, she darted forward, her small feet pattering against the marble floor as she ran straight to Jungkook.

With a bright grin, she climbed onto his lap, settling herself comfortably.

Jungkook’s lips curled into a small smile as he pecked her head, his free arm securing her in place.

As the hawan progressed, the priest turned to Jungkook and announced,

Priest- Collector Sahab, now is the time to name your son. Whisper his name in his ear so that the heavens might hear it first.

Jungkook nodded, his gaze lingering on his son’s delicate face. Taking the baby from Tae’s arms, he cradled him close, pressing a soft kiss to his chubby cheek before leaning in.

"Jeon Jung-hyun."

The baby blinked at the sound, a tiny giggle bubbling from his lips as he cooed, his little fists waving in the air.

"A-goo...ahh!"

A smile tugged at Jungkook’s lips as he lifted his head and spoke aloud.

Jk- The name of our son is Jeon Jung-hyun.

A collective murmur ran through the hall as Mr. and Mrs. Kim gasped in delight.

The priest, nodding in approval, placed a small tilak on the baby’s forehead and announced in a firm voice:
