The golden morning light filtered through the grand windows of the Jeon Residence, casting warm hues over the elaborately decorated dining hall.

The family sat in their usual places, enjoying the morning meal amidst the clinking of silverware and soft murmurs of conversation. The air was filled with the enticing aroma of freshly made puris, aloo sabzi, and steaming hot chai.

Jungkook sat at the head of the table, dressed in his usual white kurta with a serious expression as he quietly ate.

Tae sat beside him, serving food to Hyunnie, who was already stuffing his mouth with a piece of jaggery-laced paratha, while Mani giggled at his messy face.

Across from them, Jung-guk and Sumi were chatting softly, trying to feed little Meera in turns, who was more interested in banging her spoon against the plate.

The peaceful breakfast was suddenly interrupted by a cheerful, sing-song voice echoing from the entrance.

"I am back!"

The entire family froze mid-bite. Jungkook's hand, which had been lifting a piece of roti to his mouth, stopped midway. Tae, who was helping Meera with her food, turned in slow motion, like a dramatic scene from an old film. Even Raghu Kaka, who had been busy serving hot ghee-dripping parathas, almost dropped the ladle.

All eyes turned toward the entrance.

And there she stood.

Jiminee.

At first glance, she was every bit a city girl-wearing a bright pink sleeveless top that screamed rebellion in a village where even pigeons didn't dare fly without covering their wings

At first glance, she was every bit a city girl-wearing a bright pink sleeveless top that screamed rebellion in a village where even pigeons didn't dare fly without covering their wings. Her long black cotton skirt swayed as she walked forward, and her dark hair, tied in a loose braid, fell a little lower than her shoulders, making her look effortlessly modern yet traditionally rooted.

But Jungkook's sharp eyes immediately narrowed. The dress? Fine. The bare arms? Absolutely unacceptable.

Hyunnie and Mani were the first to react.

"JIMINEE DIDIIIII!!"

The two children screamed in unison, their voices louder than a temple bell on a festival morning.

Jiminee had barely set her bags down when Hyunnie transformed into a flying squirrel, launching himself at her.

"ACK! HYUNNIE, NO-!"

But it was too late. The boy had wrapped his legs around her waist, his arms choking her neck as he hung onto her like a baby langur.

Jiminee staggered, almost toppling over.

Jm- Gosh, Hyunnie! What are they feeding you, bricks?! (she wheezed, struggling to hold him up)

The boy simply grinned mischievously, showing no intention of letting go.
