42. Sa's new personality 🤧

The morning was warm and quiet, the gentle hum of the city outside providing a soft backdrop to the room where Tae was absorbed in her notes.

She sat cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by books and papers, her brows furrowed as she went through her revisions for tomorrow's exam. Even though today was a rare break in her exam schedule, she felt the weight of studying pulling her focus.

Just then, the door creaked open. She glanced up and saw Jungkook standing in the doorway, a playful smile lighting up his face. In his hand, he held a fresh green tender coconut with two straws poking out of it.

Jk- Thought I'd bring something refreshing for my studious Bawri Chori. (he said, stepping into the room and sitting down in front of her)

Tae couldn't help but smile, a soft blush rising to her cheeks. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear and eyed the coconut curiously.

Tae- Coconut water? (she asked, the amusement in her tone making him chuckle)

Jk- Not just any coconut water. (he replied, his tone teasing) It's a special one-with two straws. So, come on.

He held it out toward her, signaling her to join him.

Tae hesitated, the blush on her cheeks deepening as she realized his intent. Taking a deep breath to steady her racing heart, she leaned forward and placed her lips on one of the straws, sipping the cool water. At the same time, Jungkook leaned in to drink from the other straw, his face just inches from hers.

The coconut water was sweet and refreshing, but the closeness of Jungkook was even more so, making her pulse quicken. As they sipped, their eyes met, and she felt her cheeks grow warmer under his gaze. Then, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, Jungkook winked at her.

Startled, Tae pulled back from the straw, her blush deepening as she stammered,

Tae- I-I'm done. (she looked away quickly, pretending to refocus on her books, though her heart still raced)

Jungkook chuckled, clearly enjoying her flustered state.

Jk- Oh, come on. You're really just going to go back to those notes?

Tae nodded firmly, trying to ignore him.

Tae- Yes, sa, I have to. Tomorrow's paper is important.

But Jungkook wasn't about to let her off the hook so easily. He leaned forward and gently tugged at her long braid, pulling it toward him and causing her to lose her place on the page.

Tae- Sa! (she exclaimed, slapping his hand away) I'm trying to study! Stop disturbing me.

Jk- Studying, studying... You know, that's all you ever seem to do. Where's the fun in that?

She sighed, grabbing her braid and wrapping it into a quick bun at the back of her head, securing it with a clip.

Tae- There; (she said, shooting him a glare) Now you can't pull it anymore.

Jungkook leaned back, crossing his arms with a smirk.

Jk- Oh, you think a clip is going to stop me?

Before she could respond, he leaned forward and, in one smooth motion, slipped the clip out of her bun, letting her hair fall back down her shoulders.

Tae- Sa! (she gasped, eyes wide with surprise as she turned to scold him) You're impossible!

Jk- Hey, I was just helping you look a little more... relaxed.

Tae- Relaxed? I need to study, not-

She glanced away, too flustered to finish her sentence as he continued to gaze at her with that mischievous sparkle.
