Chapter 59: Halloween

Mia's POV

*One Month Later*

"I can't believe you talked me into this," I laughed as I walked into the bedroom.

"Mmm, you look sexy though," he said with a smirk, his blue eyes lighting up. Tonight was Halloween and Andy had somehow talked me into a Batman family costume. Of course, he was Batman.

He was wearing a gray and black Batman suit

He was wearing a gray and black Batman suit. He had added a black cape and black gloves. He had been so excited about Halloween ever since I agreed to his idea. Of course, he had convinced me to wear the tightest Catwoman costume in the world.

I was wearing a skin tight black suit that had stitch detailing on my thighs and the torso. The costume had come with a set of cat ears and a black mask that went around my eyes. I was wearing black press-on nails that were so sharp that I've almost taken my eye out a few times. Lastly, I found a pair of black high-heeled, knee-high boots in my closet. I knew by the end of the night I would be chafed, blistered, and severely regretting my agreement to the costume.

"Kendyll won't notice if we didn't go trick or treating and stay inside, right?" he asked with a wink.

"I've stuffed myself into this costume, I'm getting candy as my reward."

"I can buy you a bag of candy. It all goes on sale tomorrow."

"Free candy," I said and he huffed, a frown momentarily crossing his face before he broke into a smile again.

"Did you get Kendyll ready?" I asked. Since Andy's costume took two seconds to put on, I made him get Kendyll dressed.

"I did," he said proudly as he stood up. He walked over to where her playpen was set up and lifted her up. "Batman and his Batgirl," Andy said with a cheesy smile.

"Awhh," I said as I saw my daughter in her costume.

She was wearing a purple onesie with a gold Batman logo on her chest

She was wearing a purple onesie with a gold Batman logo on her chest. Around her waist was a belt that was attached to her outfit with a smaller Batman logo. She had a cape that was purple on the outside and gold on the inside. Lastly, she was wearing a hat that had bat ears and went over her face to form a mask around her eyes.

"As uncomfortable as I am, this was a cute idea Andy."

"Thank you," he said. "Now let's go save the city!" he cheered, pumping his fist as he ran out of the room, Kendyll still in his arms.

"Oh my," I said, shaking my head as I followed behind him. We grabbed her candy bucket, which of course was black with the Batman logo, and headed out of the house. Andy carried her as we walked up to the first house. He knocked and then stood next to me.

"Trick or treat!" we said as the person opened their door.

"Cute!" the woman said as she placed candy into the bucket and then closed the door.

"I think it's time to get back," I said, gesturing to the sleeping Batgirl on Andy's shoulder. We had been out for an hour and I was about to rip the boots off of my feet.

"Yeah," Andy said with a sigh. We started heading back home and I was literally dragging, my feet aching. We made it home and I locked the door behind us.

"I'll go put her to sleep," Andy said.

"Okay," I said as I was actively taking my boots off. "Oh my god!" I groaned loudly as I wiggled my toes and rubbed my throbbing foot.

"Don't take the costume off though, Batman still has some energy," he said with a wink.

"As long as you stop referring to yourself as Batman," I laughed.

"Fine," he sighed. He went to Kendyll's room and I went to our bedroom. I took off the mask and cat ears, laying them on the dresser. I laid on my back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. I started picking off the press-on nails while I waited for Andy.

"I'm Batman!" Andy exclaimed in his best Batman impression as he leaped on top of me.

"Batman's about to not get lucky tonight," I threatened with a laugh.

"Sorry, sorry," he said, returning to his normal voice. He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine, my hands working quickly to remove his costume.
