He Takes You to a One Direction Concert - OTRA (Calum)

You and Calum are on your way to One Direction's concert and both of you are pretty pumped. You're a big fan and although Calum isn't a big fan like you, he still likes their music a lot. You're listening to your favorite songs on the way and both of you are loudly belting out Midnight Memories, earning looks from other drivers.

"We're insane!" you yell over the music.

"Not insane, fun!" Calum yells back. You have the windows down and the stereo blasting. The sun is shining and it's the perfect day for a concert. You don't think you've ever been this happy to be in Calum's passenger seat, one hand holding yours and the other on the wheel.

"What are you most excited to hear in person?" you ask out of curiosity. He thinks for a while clearly wanting to choose wisely. "Is it really that difficult?" you chuckle.

"In person I'd have to say Night Changes. Because I've heard it live and I know it sounds amazing, but in person I bet the harmonies are gonna be even more present and it'll sound unbelievable." And he says he's not as big of a fan as you.

"I'm excited for that one too. But also No Control because I wanna hear Louis slay the chorus." you say, and he seems to regret what he said.

"Ah I knew I should've thought about it longer!" he says fake upset. You laugh and enjoy the rest of the ride.

You've seen One Direction every time they've done a tour in America so you've seen them three times already. You've been a fan from the first album's release. It's like you've grown up with them so they're very special to you. When Zayn quit, you were heartbroken at first before figuring out his reason. It was like a sibling being gone forever or something. But now you're excited for his solo career and glad he's happy. Tonight is a big night for you because you'll only be seeing four of them come out for the first time. You've already warned Calum that you may shed a few tears and he's prepared to comfort you. You're incredibly thankful for him at times like these. Most guys and people in general wouldn't understand but he does and you love him for it.

You're thinking about this on the way and Calum can tell since you haven't sang for a few minutes. He shakes your hand a little. "Hey, are you okay Y/N?"

You snap out of it. "Yeah. Thinking about later. It'll be different, you know?"

"Yeah I know. It'll be alright though. They still rock. I mean, have you heard Drag Me Down?"

Laughing you say, "Yeah it's pretty great. Let's listen to it."

"I was thinking the same thing, babe." Calum says as he pulls it up on his phone.

You spend the remainder of the car ride belting Drag Me Down and when the song is over and you're finding a parking spot, you say, "You really have a nice voice, Cal. Why don't you sing more often?"

He parks and says, "Thanks, babe. I don't know. I've never thought my voice was anything special."

"What? I think your voice is awesome! I wish you would sing more. It's so beautiful." you compliment.

Calum smiles and blushes a little. "Thanks..maybe I will. If you like it so much." He puts his left arm around your shoulder as you walk to the stadium. You grab his hand that's around your shoulder and intertwine your fingers as you walk. You love showing each other off in public. You're both so proud to call each other your own.

You reach the stadium and find your seats by the catwalk. You saved for those seats for months working so many extra hours and you did it. It felt great knowing you got those great seats yourself and truly earned them. You get to your row and find your seats and you are so close to the catwalk. Only a few feet away from being able to touch it. Calum let you have the seat at the very end of the row, the closest one to the catwalk itself. These are by far, the best ones you have had for a 1D concert. Calum is pretty excited too.
